Olivia Munn: actress reveals she is suffering from a serious illness

On Instagram, Olivia Munn has told her followers that she has bre ea st cancer and has undergone a double mastectomy.
"I was diagnosed with bre ast cancer. I hope by sharing this it will help others find comfort, inspiration, and support on their own journey," the performer, who was born in July 1980, said in her post.

In the post, she accompanied the text with an impressive carousel of photos of herself in the hospital, where she confirmed that she has spent more nights than she would like to admit.

Among the photos, the actress has included a text detailing her process with be ea st cancer, stating that she was diagnosed in April 2023 and has kept it a secret ever since.

The diagnosis came after a Br ea st Cancer Risk Assessment test. It's a genetic test that Olivia Munn wants to raise awareness about. Her message is meant to encourage many women to take it as a preventative measure.

In fact, it was this test and her doctor's insistence on further tests that saved the actress's life, as she revealed.

After a biopsy, the results showed that Olivia Munn was suffering from Luminal B cancer, which had to be operated on and has since taken place.

Barely a month after the biopsy, as she recounted on Instagram, the actress underwent a double mastectomy, from which she still seems to be recovering.

At no time has Olivia Munn ever confirmed that she is cancer-free or given any clues as to whether she is in remission, so it is possible that she has not yet fully recovered.
