The start of Euro 2024 is just a few days away and the participating countries are preparing to lead their country to the coveted trophy. However, we believe that these players will not deliver what is expected of them.

At 38, Germany's Manuel Neuer is coming off his worst season with Bayern Munich and a shocking mistake in the Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid. The end of the season showed his age is starting to affect him, and he could let down Germany this summer.

Scotland captain Andy Robertson has had his worst season for goals and assists this season (3 goals, and 2 assists) since coming back from injury for Liverpool and hasn't looked like the same player. He is Scotland's best hope of qualifying from the group, but he hasn't shown he can reach his old level.

Real Madrid and Croatia midfielder Luka Modric has aged like a fine wine, but as his playing time has decreased at Real Madrid, predominantly coming off the bench, it's hard for the 38-year-old to start and perform to the level he used to play for Croatia.

Barcelona and Netherlands midfielder Frenkie de Jong will be one of the first names on the team sheet for his country at Euro 2024. However, due to multiple ankle injuries this season, De Jong will have trouble getting up to speed and keeping the Dutch team ticking like he usually does.
