The viral photo of Yamal and Carvajal: When Real Madrid and Barcelona combine their talents
The Spanish national team made a lot of noise during their Euro 2024 debut, thrashing the Croatian national team to bits (3-0). During Spain's third goal, we saw Dani Carvajal euphorically celebrating with Lamine Yamal, highlighting the union present in the Spanish locker room. Europe trembles at the sight of Real Madrid and Barcelona players working together like clockwork...
Spanish media alongside renowned media icons have commented on the viral photo, fuelling the hype behind the national team. The team is unified under one goal, and that is to win. "Lamine gave a great cross, all I had to do was tap it in. I'm very happy for him, great performance," shared Carvajal during a post-match interview.

"And if you don't see the power behind this image, there are other accounts you can follow. Happy Sunday," shared Dani Mateo on X.
Dani Mateo's comment went viral and many Spanish celebrities like Jose Manuel Soto (a famous Spanish singer) have hopped onto the fan wagon.
"It's wonderful to see a young Spanish man of Morrocan and Guinea heritage triumph as an individual, and that he has been able to flourish his talent," shared Soto on X.
"His example," added the Andalusian singer, "will serve many others and will demonstrate that Spain welcomes everyone who comes to contribute something."
Jose Manuel Soto's response has become one of the most viral tweets after the Spain vs Croatia fixture.
Some have even accused the Andalusian of driving a political wedge after a sporting victory or of being "just another 'pepero', (Partido Popular-Spanish center-right political party) trying to whitewash the PP and its vote to legalize half a million illegal immigrants."
"I'm not a 'pepero' nor do I want to whitewash anyone," Jose Manuel Soto himself responded to this user, "but I want Yamal on my team," he stated.
