Olivia Dunne has very bad news for her fans
Olivia Dunne has an important decision to make, and her fans may not be able to see her as much as they would like in the coming years.
According to Fox News, Dunne has one year of athletic eligibility left at Louisiana State University. At this juncture, it seems uncertain as to whether she will return.
“I’m still weighing my options,” Dunne told Fox News Digital. “I definitely see pros and cons in both staying at LSU and leaving, but stay tuned.”

Dunne’s comment is pretty interesting, as she may also be considering the possibility of transferring to another school to continue her gymnastics career.
If this is it for Dunne’s gymnastics career, or her career at LSU, she would be finishing off strong. She helped lead LSU to the national title as a senior. Dunne told The Daily Mail, “It’s just so cool to be able to make history with my whole team.”
Dunne hasn’t just been talking about her collegiate gymnastics career recently. She’s also addressed the idea of competing in the Olympics.

“I don’t think I’m going to try for the Olympics or anything after, since I once competed for Team USA and I closed that chapter and went to LSU,” she said, as reported by Athlon Sports. This might be a disappointing comment for fans who want to see her compete on the global stage.
Even though Dunne likely won’t appear in the Olympics in 2024 or in the future, her and her family have stayed pretty close to the gymnasts that will participate. According to Essentially Sports, Dunne’s mom, Katherine Patterson Dunne, recently expressed her congratulations to Hezly Rivera, who used to play with Olivia when they were little.
According to the Daily Mail, Livvy Dunne has the highest NIL (name, image and likeness) valuation of any female collegiate athlete. She’s worth nearly $4 million, which includes the endorsement deal she signed with Passes in late April to produce exclusive content for fans.

Even if Olivia Dunne decides that her gymnastics career will end sooner rather than later, her supporters will still be able to get a glimpse of her at Pittsburgh Pirates MLB games. That’s because according to the New York Post, People and other outlets, she’s involved in a serious romantic relationship with Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes.
