Nico Paz: A future Real Madrid 'Galactico'?

Nico Paz has earned himself a seat amongst Real Madrid's starting squad, following his remarkable Champions League debut at the Santiago Bernabeu. The young midfielder shocked everyone after he drilled a missle of a longshot to secure Real Madrid's victory over Napoli.

Nico Paz has fought his way up from Real Madrid Castilla, carving himself a spot in Real Madrid's future. It has not been an easy journey for the young midfielder but the raw emotion was visible during his debut goal celebration.

Nicolas Paz Martinez was born September 8th, 2004, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain. His father was a renowned center-back who played with CD Tenerife.

Paz arrived in Madrid in 2016 after being poached from CD Tenerife. He was showing signs of being a great midfielder at such a young age.

His official debut was on January 8th, 2022. Raul Gonzalez Blanco subbed him in against FC Andorra and helped secure a 3-1 victory. On November 8th, 2023, young Paz made his official debut with the Real Madrid squad.

Carlo Ancelotti sees potential but he is still at a very tender age and those like Kross, Modric, Brahim, Vazquez, and Ceballos, have priority due to veternacy. Nevertheless, this hasn't stopped young Paz from testing his limits. With 9 Real Madrid players injured, it is his time to shine!
