Nick Marsman, Messi's teammate at Inter Miami, hospitalized for a venomous spider bite
Nick Marsman, substitute goalkeeper for Inter Miami, has spent several days in hospital after getting on the wrong side of nature.
Leo Messi's future teammate had to be taken to the hospital after being bitten by a venomous spider.
As Nathalie den Dekker, former Miss Holland, and wife of Nick Marsman, recounted, it all happened on a family visit to the zoo.
It was den Dekker herself who was told the world of her husband's condition through Instagram.

"The downside of living in a tropical climate is that if you go to the zoo and get bitten by a venomous spider, you end up hospitalized for three days," he wrote on Instagram.

The reality is that if you get bitten by a venomous spider, no matter what climate you find yourself in, chances are you're in trouble.
While the Inter Miami goalkeeper is already at home, he is still recovery time and waiting to find out if there will be any ongoing complications relating to the bite.

"Happy to have you back home. Now get well soon," Nathalie den Dekker updated on social networks.
Nick Marsman, in the ranks of Inter Miami since 2021, has not played much with the team, due to the exemplary performance of Drake Callender, the team's starting goalkeeper.
Despite not being a starter, Nick Marsman, at 32, recently went viral after welcoming the arrival of Leo Messi at Inter Miami.
While the city, MLS (Major League Soccer) and North American soccer, in general, celebrated the signing of the Argentine star, Nick Marsman had a very different opinion.
It was in an interview for ESPN, where the goalkeeper assured that the club "is not prepared for Messi".
"We have a temporary stadium. People can enter the field, come on, the stadium, without any type of security. I trust that they will come but we are not ready," added the goalkeeper.

It is to be hoped that with the presence of the Argentine star, the security problems mentioned by Nick Marsman will be solved.
At the moment, the important thing is the goalkeeper's health and knowing he can recover from the spider bite that saw him spend three days in hospital.
However, everything indicates that Nick Marsman will miss the Inter Miami game against the Philadelphia Union on Saturday, June 24.
