Her successful first campaign with the Indiana Fever has landed her fourth in Sports Pro's 50 most marketable athletes, beating out some of the most famous athletes on the planet.
According to the Mirror US, the website assesses athletes on brand strength, total addressable market, and economics, scoring them out of 100.
Clark received a marketability score of 90.26, earning 26.25/35 for brand strength, 35/35 for addressable marketability, and 29.01/30 for economics.
Even more impressive are the athletes she has beaten to land the fourth spot. Football GOAT Lionel Messi finished fifth (89.67), and fellow football icon Cristiano Ronaldo was ninth (84.31).
Being higher than the two biggest stars in the world's most popular sport is a testament to Clark and what she has brought to women's basketball and women's sport in general.
Simone Biles makes up the top three in first place, Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr in second, and basketball GOAT LeBron James finishes the top three.
With how things are going for Caitlin Clark right now, would it be ridiculous to assume she may be in the top three soon?
