Miles Russell: The 15 year old golf prodigy following the steps of Tiger Woods
Miles Russell has shocked the golfing world with his rocket-like trajectory, leading him to his PGA Tour debut at just 15 years old. The young prodigy is set to take a massive step into the big league, but will he be able to hang?
"Catching others by surprise has become the theme with Russell. He has seemingly skipped six years and steps with every passing accomplishment," shared the PGA Tour website.
He won both the Junior PGA Championship and Junior Players at 14 years old. He then won the AJGA's Player of the Year Award a day after turning 15, dethroning Tiger Woods as the youngest to win it.

Standing 5'7 ft (1.73 m) and weighing 135 lbs (61kg), Russell looked like your average high-school teenager, but he has separated himself with a great skill set that resembles that of some elite golfers. Born in Jacksonville Beach (Florida), November 1st, 2009.
The young golfer has proven adept against the pros, after becoming the youngest player to cut the Korn Ferry Tour. Russell finished top 20 to become the youngest to finish in the first 25 of the PGA Tour-sanctioned event.
Young Russell is one of the four sponsors exemption for the Rocket Mortage Classic. The Florida golfer will face off against some of the best golfers on the planet.
"Ever since I first started playing golf, my dream has been to compete on the PGA Tour and test my game against the best players, and I'm looking forward to making the most of the experience later this month," shared Russell with local media.
"Korn Ferry was pretty cool, so I can only imagine what a PGA Tour event is like," said Russell before his debut. Will we witness a historic upset from a 15-year-old?!
Russell's debut is more anticipated given his nature as the No. 1 ranked junior golfer in the world. Some of the pros will have to bring their A-game.
"I don't think he needs any tips from me, he's so good. I ask him for tips," said Reid, a former Solheim Cup participant.
