A move to Real Madrid looked destined for Mbappé, but in his interview with Sky Sports Italy, he admitted his sights were set on the San Siro.
Mbappe said: "When I was a kid, I was a fan of Milan, and I always said that if one day I come to Italy, I am going to play at Milan." He added, "So we never know what can happen, but I always watch the Italian league - every game of Milan."
"So now I keep watching the games, but we never know what can happen. I was in Paris. I'm going to have a new club now, and I'm really happy with what I have, but you never know what can happen."
Whichever club wins the race to sign the footballing superstar, they know they are getting one of the best footballers in the world, having scored 44 goals and providing ten assists in 48 appearances for PSG this season, according to Football 365.
Milan finished second in the Serie A table this season, finishing behind their local rivals Inter Milan by a whopping 19 points.
The French superstar could be the missing piece in the jigsaw for AC Milan and restoring them to their glory years, which saw them win seven Champions League titles.
Will Mbappé form a formidable front four with Rodrygo, Vinicius Jr, and Jude Bellingham, or will he join the club he has supported since he was a boy?
