Furthermore, Goal reports how Pulisic has become an important figure in Milan's coach Stefano Pioli's plans for the season. He has been embraced in Italy as 'Captain America' for his great form and relentless attitude.
Pulisic is also a crucial figure for the USMNT. According to GOAL, he is the second captain of the national team and carries a lot of weight in the dressing room. So far, the American forward has played 66 games with the national team, scoring 28 goals (Transfermarkt).
In 2023, Christian Pulisic was voted U.S. Soccer's male player of the year following his remarkable season. According to FOX Sports, it was the fourth time he had won the award, equaling the great Landon Donovan.

"It's an honor to win this award again for the fourth time. It was an incredible season for me. I always enjoy playing with the national team and winning more trophies with the national team. I'm really grateful to win an award like this," shared the American forward during an interview for FOX Sports.
Pulisic was voted as the best player by U.S. national team coaches, players who earned a senior cap in 2023, members of the USSF board, U.S. Soccer Athletes' Council, coaching, and sporting directors. According to FOX Sports, Pulisic took more than half of all votes collected, with 53% of the total.
Beyond his great athletic skills on the pitch, he is a great person off the pitch too. He has contributed significantly to major non-profit organizations such as The Alice for Children Foundation and The Sport of Giving Project.
Born in Hershey, Pennsylvania, on September 18, 1998, Pulisic went on to discover his passion for soccer at an early age. Both his parents played at the collegiate level.
Young Pulisic lived in Tackley, Oxfordshire (England) for a year, where he joined Brackley Town's youth team. He would later return to America to play for Michigan Rush.
Furthermore, Pulisic grew up playing for local PA Classics and Harrisburg City Islanders, now known as Penn FC. He later made his move to Germany, where he joined Borussia Dortmund at the age of 16.
Thanks to his grandfather's Croatian nationality, he was eligible for a European passport. He would also be able to start playing at the age of 16 rather than 18. The American forward would go on to have a couple of breakthrough seasons, leading him to a major move into the Premier League.
