Huge controversy surrounding Mbappé: PSG has not paid the striker
The Mbappé soap opera is coming to an end as he has one foot out of PSG. It's been 7 years of 'ifs, buts, and maybes' but one thing is certain now... There is little to no relationship between PSG (Nasser Al-Khelaïfi) and Mbappé.
According to L'Équipe, the Parisian team would have blocked some payments to what is, unanimously, the best player in their club's history.
Specifically, the aforementioned media indicates that the forward would not have received his salary from April 2024. The French striker is also waiting on additional bonuses that he achieved back in February.

As the clock ticks, Mbappé's arrival at the Santiago Bernabeu looks ever closer. Nevertheless, PSG is not planning any type of farewell from his childhood club.
We will have to wait until the end of the season to know how the matter is resolved, but a complaint for non-payment by a player could have immediate consequences for PSG, especially in the face of the summer transfer market.
And how much money are we talking about? According to Damien Degorre, a journalist for L'Équipe, the February bonus alone was worth 80 million euros.
This little administrative 'mistake' highlights the relationship with the Parisian club. It seems PSG is bittersweet about his departure to the Spanish capital.
In the last 21 games that the Frenchman has played with PSG, only 11 of them have been played until the final whistle, being replaced by Luis Enrique in 10, something unthinkable under normal circumstances.
In fact, the French newspaper point out that it is PSG and Mbappé's lawyers who are negotiating and finalizing the player's departure from the club.
However, it is not the first time, nor will it be the last, that a legend from a big club does not leave in the best way possible, especially if he is planning on joining a direct European rival. Let us know what you think in the comments!
