Jude Bellingham's Real Madrid season was summed up in the first El Clasico, with Real Madrid being dismantled by an unbelievable Barcelona team 4-0 at home.

Six points clear

The win for FC Barcelona puts them six points ahead of Real Madrid in La Liga, and it doesn't look like 'Los Blancos' will catch up to their biggest rivals.

Spectacular comeback

Madrid beat Borussia Dortmund after a spectacular comeback in the Champions League. Jude Bellingham provided one assist, but is not excelling as he did last year for Los Blancos.

Opening season

Bellingham had an exceptional opening year for Real Madrid last season after joining the Spanish giants from Borussia Dortmund for an initial £88.5 million ($115m,€106m).

Primary threat

Bellingham was Madrid's primary threat in the 2023-24 season, scoring 23 goals and providing 13 assists in 42 matches as Madrid won La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.

Goal drought

Despite such an excellent season a year ago, Bellingham has struggled to reach similar heights this campaign, extending his goal drought for Madrid to twelve games.

'10 to zero'

After failing to score in the final two games of last season and the first ten of this season, Marca has labelled the midfielder as 'going from 10 to zero in a year.'

10 goals last year

The harsh one-liner from the Spanish newspaper is about Bellingham's impressive start last year, having already scored ten goals by this point a year ago.

Arrival of Mbappe

Has the arrival of Kylian Mbappe taken away his stardom at Madrid? The Frenchman has scored eight goals in all competitions and looks to have taken away Bellingham's goals.

Playing deeper

For much of last season, Bellingham played as a 'false 9' for Madrid, making him the team's spearhead and leading goalscorer. The arrival of Mbappé nullifies his scoring ability as he plays a deeper role.

"Secondary role"

According to Diario Sports, Bellingham has "gone from being the absolute star of Real Madrid to acting in a more secondary role." This has been highlighted because he's playing this more profound role.

The new stars

Vinicius Jr. and Kylian Mbappé are now the stars of the show in Madrid. Vinicius has contributed five goals and four assists in ten La Liga games this season. Mbappé has provided six goals in nine La Liga games.

Adding more assists

The Real Madrid team may have new stars upfront, but that shouldn't stop Bellingham from adding more assists to his game, with the elite talent finishing the scoring chances.

One assist

However, despite playing with two of the best forwards in the game, Transfermarkt reports that Bellingham has contributed three assists in ten games (6 La Liga, 3 Champions League, 1 UEFA Super Cup).

A worthy investment

Suppose Bellingham is to turn his initial price tag into a worthy investment for Madrid. In that case, the Englishman must improve his game and contribute assists if he is to be successful on a team entirely of superstars. He doesn't want to be considered a one-season wonder.

More frustrated

This season, Bellingham's frustrations with his lack of form in the Spanish capital have been evident for Real Madrid. They spilled over again in Madrid's game against Celta Vigo.

Seething with anger

During Real's 2-1 win against Celta Vigo, Bellingham expressed his monumental disgust when Vini Jr failed to pass him the ball during the game. The Englishman was seething with anger, but Carlo Ancelotti settled the reports.

"I saw them laughing"

According to the Daily Mail, Ancelotti said: "I haven't seen him, but if he got angry, it's because he has b*lls and character. After the game, I saw them laughing; I don't think they'll have any problems."

Will he find his form?

Will Bellingham find his form before he is dropped by Ancelotti?
