Donald Trump assures no foul play after beating Phil Mickelson's score
Donald Trump, the former US president, assures no foul play after beating Phil Mickelson's score at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster!
Trump and his team went on to boast about the achievement on his social media network, after winning the Senior Club Championship.
The former US president, now 77, cashed in a score of 67, eight strokes better than Phil Mickelson's record two weeks before.
Trump's claim was so unbelievable he had to add a disclaimer about why cheating would be impossible...
"I am pleased to report, for those that care, that I just won the Senior Club Championship at Bedminster, shooting a round of 67," shared the former US president.
"Now, some people will think that sounds low, but there is hanky-lanky. Many people watch, plus I am surrounded by Secret Service Agents," added Trump.
"Not much you can do even if you wanted to, and I don't. For some reason, I am just a good golfer/athlete – I have won many Club Championships, and it is always a great honor!" Trump posted on social media.
Just in case you didn't believe Mr. Trump, he posted the phone number of the head professional at his Bedminster golf course for anybody having issues believing his score...You may call to confirm!
The Senior Club Championship golf tournament Trump reportedly won occurred two days after his mug shot was released to the public.
Trump was booked for 13 felony charges in relation to his attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential elections, but hey, he can golf, it seems.
