"Getting sacked in the morning": Pep Guardiola's possible replacements
Manchester City's losing streak in the Premier League has continued after suffering a 2-0 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield. Per BBC Sport, chants of "you're getting sacked in the morning," were ringing out from the stands as Liverpool fans added insult to injury to a manager who has bested them so often in the past.
The loss comes just days after City surrendered a three-goal advantage to Feyenoord at home in the Champions League and is now the first time Guardiola has lost four league games in a row as a manager, per BeIn Sports.
Following City's loss to Sporting Lisbon last month, a result that helped kickstart this dip in form, City midfielder Bernardo Silva asserted the club is in a "dark place," so could it be the end for Guardiola?

Despite Guardiola announcing he is nearing closer to leaving Manchester City at the start of the season, he has since signed a two-year extension with the club that takes him through to 2027, per The Athletic.

I will stay next season, and during the season we will talk. But eight or nine years – we will see." Since then he has signed an extension, but we've also seen an unprecedented drop in form that could already have City out of the title race.
