Even though Elon Musk was born in South Africa, his mother, Maye Musk hailed from Saskatchewan. So, the CEO of Tesla holds Canadian citizenship.

Emily Carr

Emily Carr was a Canadian author and artist who was one of the first Canadian painters to adopt the Modernist and Post-Impressionist styles. This Canadian icon was heavily inspired by the Indigenous people of the Pacific Northwest Coast.

Neil Young

Neil Young holds dual nationality but is Canadian through and through. Young grew up in several different parts of Canada, from Toronto to Pickering and Omemee, Ontario. Neil started out as a solo artist touring Canada before going stateside.
