The charismatic adult star and reality TV icon was only 39 when she was discovered lifeless in the glamorous Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

In those unsettling times, Dannielynn Birkhead, Smith’s second child, was barely five months into this world. She was born September 7, 2006.

Remarkably, despite growing up without her mother’s physical presence, young Dannielynn Birkhead exudes a heartfelt love, respect, and admiration for Anna Nicole Smith.

She demonstrated this profound affection during her latest public appearance. The outing was a rare occasion for Dannielynn Birkhead, who doesn’t often grace the media or public events with her presence.

She certainly made a splash at the 34th Barnstable Brown Kentucky Derby Eve Gala. Attending with her father, famed photographer Larry Birkhead, she left everyone gobsmacked.

Now blossoming into her teenage years, Dannielynn Birkhead’s likeness to her late mother is becoming increasingly evident. In Sept. 2023, she turned 17.

It’s not just the physical characteristics. From her gestures, expressions, and even how she stands, it’s clear that Dannielynn Birkhead and Anna Nicole Smith share more than just pretty faces.

Acknowledging the remarkable resemblance, Dannielynn Birkhead didn’t shy away from showcasing an unmistakably Anna Nicole Smith-esque hairstyle at the event, sporting the same brand of ’90s glam that just so happens to be back in style.

The prints on her shirt weren’t just any photos. They were from Anna Nicole Smith’s stunning Guess campaign in 1993. Guess who she replaced as the face of the brand? None other than Claudia Schiffer herself

Larry Birkhead mentioned on Instagram that the unique blouse isn’t up for sale as it belonged to the Guess collection. The widower of Anna Nicole Smith kept it safe at home, saving it for a special occasion.

That wasn’t the only homage to her mother. Dannielynn Birkhead proudly sported a blouse printed with photos of her mom.

And what an occasion it was. The Barnstable Brown Kentucky Derby Eve Gala was the very place where Larry Birkhead and Anna Nicole Smith first crossed paths around 20 years ago.

At that gala in 2003, Larry Birkhead attended as a photographer, and Anna Nicole Smith was one of the star guests. The rest, as they say, is history — a history that led to the birth of Dannielynn Birkhead.

Dannielynn's birth certificate from the Bahamas, where she was born, registered attorney Howard K. Stern (pictured) as her father. However, Birkhead claimed paternity (while Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband and Smith's former bodyguard also said they might be the father.) After a DNA test in April 2007, a Bahamian judge ruled that Birkhead was the father and allowed him to take Dannielynn back to the US.

Naturally, Larry Birkhead also paid tribute to the late actress, donning a tie filled with photos of his late partner.
