Angus Cloud's sweet last words to his mother
On July 31, 2023, the death of actor Angus Cloud, only 25 years old, shocked the entertainment world.
He was one of the stars of the HBO series 'Euphoria,' especially popular with a younger audience and highly acclaimed with Golden Globe, Primetime Emmys, and other awards, both for individual actors and the team as a whole.
Several weeks later, the autopsy would reveal what was already assumed in Hollywood: Angus Cloud had died from an overdose. Each of the substances he took could in itself already be lethal, but all together they meant a certain death.

After almost two months of silence, the Cloud family has been able to say goodbye to its best-known member, accept the harsh reality, and face the complicated day-to-day life without Angus.
Lisa Cloud, Angus' mother, gave a personal and in-depth interview with People magazine.
She talked about the experience, still fresh in her memory, of losing her son to an overdose.
"He was so beautiful and so creative..." Lisa Cloud remembers. She would find him passed out at the desk in his room and was unable to resuscitate him.
He was in a room in his parents' house that she "loved" despite it being tiny, Lisa recalls. She says he considered it his sanctuary.
Angus Cloud's mother clearly remembers the day her son died. It was a normal summer day in which Angus had met with his friend, Daniel Aguilera.
The two friends were going to create art in tribute to another friend who had died exactly six years earlier from an overdose of fentanyl. This was, by the way, also one of the substances that would be found in Angus Cloud's body after his death.
Before leaving to meet his friend, the actor said goodbye to his mother. It would be their last conversation. The actor did it in such a sweet way that it almost seemed like he knew what was in store for him.
"I love you, mama. You're the best. I'll see you in the morning." Lisa Cloud remembers the exact words her son said to her.
Kevin, the actor's uncle, was also with him that day and confirmed that "he seemed to be perfectly fit and healthy." The two had moved a sofa into the house together.
The last person Angus Cloud spoke to that day was his friend Daniel Aguilera.
The friend confirms Kevin's observation, stating that Angus "wasn't in bad shape or anything like that when I was with him."
The painful truth for Daniel Aguilera is that "I lost two of my best friends basically on the same day from fentanyl. I feel cursed."
