Catherine back to work after finishing chemotherapy
Catherine (AKA Kate Middleton), Princess of Wales, has returned to her royal duties after completing her cancer treatment. She is resuming her work with a focus on the Royal Foundation for Early Childhood, of which she is a patron, according to the Times.
The Princess appeared in the Court Circular, the official record of the Royal Family's activities. It states the Princess attended a meeting at Windsor Castle about her early childhood project on September 17.
The return comes after Catherine announced in a video on 9 September that she has completed her chemotherapy treatment and is now focusing on staying cancer-free.
Accompanied by members of her Early Childhood Centre team and Kensington staff, Kate seeks to resume her schedule gradually.
According to a source revealed to Vanity Fair magazine, the princess plans to be at some public engagements in the coming months amid ‘a light work schedule between now and the end of the year’.
One of the main appearances is expected to be at the Remembrance Sunday service on 10 November, where she will likely be there to support the Royal Family and veterans.
During her absence, sources told the Times that Kate kept informed about the progress of her early childhood project, working from home whenever her health permitted.
Catherine of Wales' last appearance in the Court Circular was in December last year, at a meeting similar to the one she has just held in Windsor.
The Princess has also participated in two public events this year: Trooping the Colour and Wimbledon. She caused quite a stir at both, but all in all, her presence at events has been limited.
Sources close to her have confirmed that the Princess will decide on her appearances according to her health in that moment and the recommendations of her doctors.
