Tiffani-Amber Thiessen at 50: where is she now?

Beautiful, charming, and with a smile that made millions of teenagers fall in love in the 90s, Tiffani-Amber Thiessen has reached the milestone age of 50. Amazing, isn't it?

To celebrate her, let's take a look back together at the life of this 90s legend and the roles that made her famous around the world.

The first character that allowed a very young Tiffani-Amber Thiessen (Long Beach, January 23, 1974) to become the most popular girl in America was undoubtedly Kelly Kapowski in the famous 90's cult series 'Saved by the Bell' (1989-1992).

Kelly Kapowski was the most popular girl in high school as well as a cheerleader and captain of the women's volleyball team. Her story is intertwined with five other protagonists, including the handsome Zack Morris (played by Mark-Paul Gosselaar).

But for the very young Tiffani-Amber (remember she was only 15 when she appeared in 'Saved by the Bell!'), the real big leap towards global success had not yet taken place.

Luck knocked on her door thanks to another series, which at the beginning of the 90s had gone around the world entering the homes of teenage fans. Obviously, we are talking about 'Beverly Hills, 90210'.

The second great role played by the beautiful Tiffani-Amber Thiessen was that of Valerie Malone. This character made her go (in very few scenes) from the most popular girl in America to the ultimate bad girl.

The popular TV series made other actors famous too, including Jason Priestley (Brandon), Shannen Doherty (Brenda), Luke Perry (Dylan), Jennie Garth (Kelly), Tori Spelling (Female), Ian Ziering (Steve) and Brian Austin Green (David).

With Brian Austin Green, Thiessen had a love affair that lasted about three years, from 1992 to 1995.

Valerie Malone was unable to appear in the 2019 reboot of 'Beverly Hills 90210' because she was filming 'Alexa & Katie' (2018-20), a TV project.

Without a doubt, Tiffani-Amber Thiessen can be included in the list of actors and actresses who became extremely famous too soon, to the point of not getting roles on par with those she played, at least in terms of notoriety.

After leaving 'Beverly Hills, 90210' in which she starred from 1994 to 2000 for 136 episodes, Thiessen participated in projects such as the film 'From Dusk Till Dawn 2 - Texas, Blood and Money' (1999).

At an important point in her career, it seems that the actress rejected the role of Paige Matthews in another TV series that would become famous: 'Charmed' (1998-2006).

When her career as an actress seemed to be about to end, she was chosen by Woody Allen to star in the film 'Hollywood Ending' in 2002. Her co-stars were Allen himself, Tea Leoni, and Debra Messing.

Later we could see her in one of the leading roles in the series 'White Collar' (2009-14), as the wife of the main character, Peter Burke, an FBI agent.

Thiessen also appeared sporadically in many other TV series including 'Cupid' (1999), 'NewsRadio' (1999), and 'What About Brian' (2007).

Her love life was marked by a serious loss in 1999. At the time she was in a relationship with actor David Strickland, and he tragically took his own life.

She would recover from the loss and find new love. In 2005 Tiffani got married to actor Brady Smith, with whom she had two children: Harper and Holt Fisher, born respectively in 2010 and 2015.

Tiffani-Amber Thiessen lives in Los Angeles with her family and on her official Instagram profile every day she shares moments of her daily life, both private and professional, as well as photos from her past.

The more mature Tiffani-Amber Thiessen has become so passionate about the world of cooking that she has written a recipe book: 'Pull Up a Chair: Recipes from My Family to Yours' (2018).

She also hosted a TV program, 'Dinner at Tiffani's', for three seasons from 2015 to 2017, where she was able to show what she learned in the kitchen.

After all these years, Tiffani Amber-Thiessen's assets have been estimated at around 10 million dollars... Her career in showbiz was quite successful, we could say!

It seems almost impossible to us that Kelly from 'Saved by the Bell' is already 50 years old, and yet she is! In an interview during the Jennifer Hudson Show, she said: "I feel great. I actually feel more settled than I did in my 40s. Turning 40 was a bigger deal." She added that she is happy "with the wrinkles I've earned."
