Following the death of Kane Tanaka of Japan on April 19, 2022, at 119 years of age, Lucile Randon, age 118, of France, became the oldest living person in the world.

Born in 1904

Born Lucile Randon on February 11, 1904 in Ales, southern France, Sister Andre says that she would like to beast the record of the oldest person ever and attributes her long life to keeping busy.

"I worked until 108"

The Catholic nun spoke to reporters in Toulon and said, "People say that work kills, for me work kept me alive, I kept working until I was 108."

"...love each other instead of hating"

Sister Andre continued, "People should help each other and love each other instead of hating. If we shared all that, things would be a lot better."
