Deadpool & Wolverine - July 2024

The release date for this next chapter in the saga has been set for July 26. The return of Hugh Jackman wearing the iconic Wolverine costume and the participation of actress Jennifer Garner as Elektra are among the most eagerly awaited moments of this film. Wicked: Part 1 - November 2024

Musical based on the Broadway play of the same name, a prologue to the fairy tale 'The Wizard of Oz'. With Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Jonathan Bailey and Michelle Yeoh in the cast.

Joker 2: Folie à Deux - October 2024

This is one of the most anticipated releases of 2024. Joaquin Phoenix returns to the silver screen as the Joker, while Lady Gaga will bring a new spin on the unhinged Harley Quinn. Basically, the plot will focus on Harley Quinn, a psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum, who becomes romantically involved with patient Arthur Fleck, better known as the Joker.

Mufasa: The Lion King - December 2024

Another live action (not really 'live action' though) Disney movie. This time it is a prequel to 'The Lion King' and will explore the backstory of Simba’s father. Perhaps we can see what really happened between Mufasa and Scar.

The Lord of the Rings: The War or the Rohirrim - December 2024

This animated film takes place in the same era portrayed in Peter Jackson's cinematic greats, being a prequel to both 'The Hobbit' and the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy. The production unravels the unexplored narrative of the events that culminated in Helm's Deep, hundreds of years before the fateful war. While also delving into the life of its creator, Helm Hammer, the king of Rohan.

Inside Out 2 - June 2024

This is the second installment of the Pixar film, which promises to delve even deeper into Riley's mind, exploring new and familiar characters, along with new adventures.

Another film that had its premiere postponed due to the Hollywood strike, but one that was eagerly awaited by the public. With a script written by Peter Craig ('Top Gun: Maverick'), the plot of this sequel takes place 25 years after the events of the first film. It focuses on Lucius, Lucilla's son and Commodus' nephew, and stars Denzel Washington, Paul Mescal, and Connie Nielsen.

Ballerina - moved to 2025

You might not be able to tell from the name, but it's the fifth installment of 'John Wick'. In this new spin-off of the 'John Wick' saga, Ana De Armas plays a dancer who is also an assassin looking to avenge her family's death.

Captain America: Brave New World - moved to 2025

Goodbye Steve Rogers, we will always love you but it's time for a new Captain America. Sam Wilson has taken over the responsibility and the shield. What's more, judging from the trailer, we have some very special guests in the new action-packed film.

Snow White - pushed back to 2025

The live action Disney films have taken a lot of criticism, so it's a brave move from Disney to take on this classic. Gal Gadot stars as the Evil Queen and West Side Story’s Rachel Zegler takes the role of Snow White. Due to the strikes, sadly this has now been pushed back to 2025.
