Data from a non-governmental source
Ukraine’s Center for Strategic Communications, a non-governmental organization that is dedicated to reforming government communication in the country, kept records on every rocket barrage and air strike Russia launched in 2023.
Compiled to reveal the scale of the strikes
The information compiled by the Centre for Strategic Communications was taken by the popular Ukrainian Telegram channel UA Wargraphics and turned it into a single graphic that revealed the total number of strikes Ukraine faced.

Russia carried out a total of 22,185 MLRS attacks on the Ukrainian Defense Forces as well as on the cities in 2023. However, it is important to note that the number provided is only the amount of strikes and not individual rockets used.
