Marjorie Taylor Greene's latest rant might be her most off-putting ever

Marjorie Taylor Greene said that she wanted "Democrats and their propagandists in the media" held accountable and even jailed for what they did to the country while Donald Trump and his associates were being investigated for possible collusion with Russia during the 2016 election campaign.

Greene reposted news that former FBI official Charles McGonigal, a special agent who participated in the investigation of Trump's collusion with Russia, had been sentenced to four years in prison for the rather ironic crime of colluding with Russia himself.

The 22-year veteran of the FBI veteran pleaded guilty in August of conspiracy to violate U.S. sanctions and money laundering after working with Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska, a man who is known to have close ties with Vladimir Putin according to a CNN report on McGonigal's situation.

McGonigal was sentenced to 50 months in prison for his crimes and Greene used the news to unload on Democrats and all those who participated in putting the country through "h**l" while the former president was being investigated for colluding with Russia.

"These thugs and criminals need to be held accountable—even jailed — for what they did to Trump and our great country. They have done EVERYTHING they can do to get rid of Trump —including rigging an election," Greene wrote on Twitter.

"Anyone who doesn’t see that…take the blinders off. You won’t be saved from the gulags because you tried to be the 'reasonable' Republican who cares more about being liked by your liberal friends and CNN than you do about standing up for what is right," Greene added.

The Georgia Congresswoman also called out Merrick Garland and "his henchmen Jack Smith and Matthew Graves" for using "Stalinist" tricks in what might be one of the most insane rants Greene has gone on in recent years.

Greene has emerged as one of America’s most polarizing political figures of the last decade, and whether you love her or hate her, you have to agree that the Georgia congresswoman has said a lot of dumb things since coming to political prominence. He's a few things she's said that rivaled the absurdity of her most recent comments.

“Trans does not mean gender change,” Greene wrote in a 2019 Facebook post, “it just means a gender refusal and gender pretending! Truth is truth, it is not a choice!!!"

In an unhinged 2020 rant, Greene argued that “the most mistreated group of people in the United States today are white males.”

“There is an Islamic invasion into our government offices right now okay,” Greene said about the 2018 midterms in a video released by Politico. “You saw after the midterm elections what we saw we so many Muslims elected. I don’t know the exact number.”

“Vaccinated employees get a vaccination logo just like the Nazi’s forced Jewish people to wear a gold star,” Greene wrote in a 2021 post that likened Covid mask-wearing rules to the golden stars used by Nazi Germany to identify and persecute Jews in Europe. 

"God created us male and female," Greene said in a speech on the House floor in 2021. "In his image, he created us. The Equality Act that we are to vote on this week destroys God's creation."

“I know a ton of white people that are as lazy and sorry and probably worse than black people,” Greene said in a video released by Politico in 2020. “And that has everything to do with their bad choices and their personal responsibility. That is not a skin-color issue.”

During an appearance on Real Talk with Dan Ball, Greene revealed her secret love of Andalusian cuisine in a Freudian slip that saw her replacing the word Gestapo, Nazi Germany’s secret police force, with the word gazpacho, a delicious cold Iberian soup. 

"So everything is completely out of control," Greene said. "Not only do we have the D.C. jail which is the D.C. Gulag but now we have Nancy Pelosi's Gazpacho Police spying on members of Congress." 

"We have already warmed 1 degree Celsius and do you know what has happened since then?” Greene asked said during an interview on the Right Side Broadcasting Network. ”We have had more food grown since then, which feeds people." But it gets worse…

"We are producing fossil fuels,” the congresswoman added. “That keeps people's houses warm in the winter. That saves people's lives, people die in the cold.” 

“This Earth warming and carbon is actually healthy for us. It helps us to feed people, it helps keep people alive,” Green continued. “The Earth is more green than it was years and years ago, and that is because of the Earth warming." Can’t argue with that logic.

On a more serious note, Marjorie Taylor Greene ran some real defense for Donald Trump in the aftermath of the Attack on the Capitol. While speaking on her podcast Greene equated the insurrection at the capital to “a little riot.”

"On one side of the Capitol, people were singing, they were praying,” Greene said. “I mean it was, you know, amazing. Other side of the Capitol, yeah, there was a little riot going on.”

After a North Dakota driver fatally killed a teenager in 2022, Greene told Trump supporters at a rally that Democrats were intentionally trying to kill Republicans."I'm not going to mince words with you all," Greene said. "Democrats want Republicans dead."

“They've already started the killings," the congresswoman continued, “an 18-year-old boy was run down by a Democrat driver who confessed to killing the teenager simply because he was a Republican.” 

“We need a national divorce,” Greene said tweeted on President’s Day in 2023. “We need to separate by red states and blue states and shrink the federal government. Everyone I talk to says this.”

“From the sick and disgusting woke culture issues shoved down our throats to the Democrat’s traitorous America Last policies, we are done,” the congresswoman added. Georgia’s 14th District has elected itself a real winner, haven’t they?
