Michael Jordan disapproves of Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan's relationship

When Michael Jordan left a bar in Paris last weekend, paparazzi asked Jordan whether he approved of Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan's relationship. His answer was a flat 'No!'

Scottie Pippen and his wife Larsa Pippen split up in 2021, and Larsa publicly moved on with Marcus Jordan – Michael's son – around the time of 'The Last Dance' feud between Scottie and Michael.

Marcus, for his part, spoke with Entertainment Tonight to play down the speculation over the weekend.‘Well, we spent some time together during the holidays," he said.

“She came and visited some of my family, I visited some of her family, so I think that’s kinda what, once we realised our families were okay with it, then I feel like that was easier for us.” He continued: “We spent Thanksgiving together last year and you know my family loves her. They think she’s great.

According to usmagazine.com, Larsa Pippen last year said: "I think both of our families want us to be happy and feel like we make each other better."

Judging by MJ's response, the pair's relationship is far from supported by the Jordan famil – or at the very least by Michael. It adds another twist to the saga between the two NBA greats.

The Bulls won six championships in eight years, thanks to Michael Jordan and his co-star Scottie Pippen, the Batman and Robin of the NBA.

The strong dynamic between the pair was there for all to see in the Netflix show 'The Last Dance,' which uncovered the truth behind the scenes of Chicago's final championship season in 1998.

Since the Netflix special came out, Pippen has hit Jordan with several personal attacks, with Pippen recently describing Jordan as a 'horrible player' on the 'Gimme the Hot Sauce' podcast.

Speaking on 'Gimme the Hot Sauce' podcast, Pippen said: "I've seen Michael Jordan play before I came to the Bulls. You guys have seen him play; he was horrible to play with. It was all 1-on-1, shooting bad shots."

Whether he's saying it for clicks or if he's saying it because he believes it, Jordan played three seasons in Chicago without Pippen and averaged 37.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.6 assists in the 1986/87 season.

Speaking on Paul George's podcast, NBA logo Jerry West said: "If you look at a team, you would think that those guys like that would have the most special relationship in the world. I just haven't understood that."

After Pippen's recent attack on Jordan, let's look at where the beef started between the pair.

Shortly after 'The Last Dance' documentary aired, Pippen began his assault on Jordan, claiming, "They glorified Michael Jordan while not giving nearly enough praise to me and my proud teammates." According to Pippen's book 'Unguarded.'

According to cnn.com, Pippen added: "I was nothing more than a prop. His 'best teammate of all time,' he called me. He couldn't have been more condescending if he tried."

After all the winning they had done together, it's a shame the pair will never look to reconcile in the future.

According to fadeawayworld.net, Pippen said: "You've been around Michael, you've been around Phil. Their egos are huge. I don't bow down to people like that."

But perhaps the biggest roadblock between Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan rediscovering their friendship is the relationship between Pippen's ex-wife Larsa Pippen and Jordan's son Marcus Jordan.

After a turbulent three years, there is seemingly no way back for Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen to be friends again.
