Vs Boston Celtics (5/25/2018) 46 points

In a must-win game for the Cleveland Cavaliers in game six of the Eastern Conference Finals, LeBron James produced a heroic 46 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists to take the series to Game 7.

Winning in the end

Boston had won the opening two games of the series before a fightback from Cleveland drew the series level. After Boston won Game 5, James produced two incredible performances to take Cleveland to the NBA Finals.

Vs Atlanta Hawks (5/9/2009) 47 points

The Atlanta Hawks were dismantled by the Cleveland Cavaliers 97-82 in the Eastern Conference Semi-finals in LeBron James' first stint with the Cavaliers.

Leading the way

James produced 47 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists and helped the Cavaliers sweep aside the Hawks in just four games before losing to the Orlando Magic in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Vs Detroit Pistons (5/31/2007) 48 points

LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers edged out a cracking game five in the Eastern Conference Finals, beating the Detroit Pistons 109-107.

First finals appearance

'King James' scored 48 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and dished out seven assists on the way to picking up a third win in the series. The Cavs would go on to win a fourth game, sending James to his first NBA Finals.

Vs Orlando Magic (5/20/2009) 49 points

After the 4-0 sweep of the Atlanta Hawks in the 2009 Eastern Conference Semi-Finals, James produced 49 points in game one of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Orlando Magic.

Losing the series

Despite his best efforts of 49 points, six rebounds, and eight assists, The Cavs ultimately lost game one 107-106, eventually losing the series 4-2.

Vs Brooklyn Nets (5/12/2014) 49 points

After picking up two NBA Championships in the two previous seasons, James and the Miami Heat were cruising to their third NBA title, beating the Brooklyn Nets 102-96 and going 3-1 up in the series.

LeBron masterclass

Although they didn't win a third title in a row, James still had one of his best playoff games in game five of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals against the Brooklyn Nets, securing 49 points, six rebounds, and two assists.

Vs Golden State Warriors (5/31/2018) 51 points

LeBron James left it all out on the floor in game one of the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors in 2018, producing one of the greatest playoff games of all time with 51 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists in 48 minutes.

Wasn't enough

Under the guidance of Kevin Durant and Steph Curry, Golden State had too much depth and quality for James and the Cavs, sweeping them 4-0 in the finals.
