Declan Rice

Rice, who signed last summer, has been the anchor in midfield for Arsenal and has become the club's main offensive threat with his corner kicks. He played every game last season, contributing seven goals and eight assists.

Solid for England

Rice played in every game for England at the Euros and provided stability and know-how to an ever-changing midfield under Gareth Southgate. He provided one assist during the run to the final.

Bukayo Saka

Saka was Arsenal's go-to goalscorer and provider last season, having his most productive season in an Arsenal shirt, with 16 goals and nine assists in 35 matches, according to Transfermarkt.

Offensive threat for England

Saka was one of England's main offensive threats at the Euros and showed his quality in the quarter-finals against Switzerland, scoring an excellent solo goal and scoring a penalty in the shootout to help England advance to the semis.

Is it deserved?

Saka and Rice were two key contributors to Arsenal's success last season, subsequently landing themselves in Morgan's greatest-ever Arsenal XI.

A rich history

The 'Gunners' have a rich and successful history in England, with their most successful periods coming in the late 80s and the 'Invincibles' squad in the early 2000s.

Defenders

Considering their history, Morgan started his all-time XI with David Seaman in goal, Lee Dixon at right back, Ashley Cole at left back, and Sol Campbell and Tony Adams as the centre-back pairing.

Midfield

Morgan set his team up in a 4-4-2 formation, according to The Sun, and paired Saka and Rice with French masterminds Patrick Vieira and Robert Pires from the 'Invincible' team.

Attackers

The famous journalist finished his team with Thierry Henry (174 Arsenal goals) and Dennis Bergkamp (120). Undoubtedly, if this Arsenal team was in the Premier League, they would run away with the league.
