What happened to Ronn Moss, Ridge of 'The Bold and the Beautiful'?

Who does not remember Ridge Forrester, who entered our homes every day with 'The Bold and the Beautiful', the famous soap opera he starred in for 25 years? We're talking (of course) about Ronn Moss!

For many years his intriguing sentimental stories have accompanied us, and he was always divided between two great loves: Brooke and Taylor, played respectively by Katherine Kelly Lang and Hunter Tylo (at the time).

In 2015, after 25 years as Ridge Forrester, Ronn Moss decided to leave the soap opera to pursue other projects. What is he doing today?

Not everyone knows that the famous American actor now lives permanently in Italy. He bought an old farmhouse in Puglia. Before telling you what he is doing there today, let's retrace his history, both professional and personal.

Ronn Moss was born in Los Angeles on March 4, 1952. Besides being an actor he is also a musician and singer, which is a side of him that not everyone knows.

In fact, before becoming famous for his role in the Forrester family, Ronn Moss had several successes in the music scene with the group 'Player.' He joined the band in 1976, and in 1979 the band had its first major hit: 'Baby Come Back,' a song you can hear in several films and TV series.

For about twenty years Ronn Moss continued his life as a singer and musician of 'Player,' until he decided to leave the group in 1995.

This choice was probably driven by his new commitment: In 1987 he had been chosen to play the role that would change his life forever: Ridge Forrester in 'The Bold and the Beautiful'.

Despite the international success of his soap character, the American actor never abandoned his great passion: music. In fact, in 2002, he recorded his first solo album: 'I'm Your Man' (pictured).

The actor was always popular in Italy. He was often a guest on TV programs and even acted in local films such as 'Christmas in Love' (2004).

Ronn Moss participated in the famous TV program 'Dancing with the Stars' in 2010. He finished in second place. Certainly, it was a way to achieve even more notoriety in the country.

In 2010, he took part in another soap opera, 'The Bay', a drama series that aired for six seasons, first on Blip.TV, then on Amazon Prime Video.

Among his various commitments, both on TV and on the big screen, Ronn Moss continued his musical production. In 2013, after a reunion with 'Player', the album 'Too Many Reasons' came out.

Ronn Moss did not stick to the US and Italy. His success has been worldwide and he often appears in showbiz events all around the world, such as 'Fashions on the Field' in Australia - where he posed alongside Eva Longoria for this photo.

Meanwhile, in Italy, he released the film 'Surprise Trip' in May 2022.

The film is about an American financier who, tired of the stressful life on Wall Street, decides to move to Puglia. Does the plot remind you of anything?

As for his private life, Ronn Moss has been married to Devin Devasquez since 2009. The wife of the former Ridge Forrester is a model and actress who became popular for being P l a y m a t e in June 1985.

On their official Instagram profiles, it is easy to see them as a happy couple. They capture their lives together, whether it's at big social events or simply walking around like an ordinary couple.

Ronn Moss has two daughters (Creason Carbo, born in 1994, and Calle Modine, born in 1998) from a previous marriage to actress and writer Shari Shattuck.
