The long-lost Superheroes?

Steve Rodgers has retired. Iron man is no more, The Flash lost his mind and Superman keeps changing. Are there any superheroes left? Yes ... and we will tell you when you can see them coming to your screens

The Crow – August 21, 2024

Let’s begin with a controversial one. This movie is another remake starring Bill Skarsgård (previously Pennywise) in the remake of Stephen King’s ‘IT’. People are complaining he is playing the gothic role of Eric Draven who comes back from the dead to take revenge on his killers.  It’s just because the original version starring Brandon Lee was so loved. Yet, give a chance at least?

Joker: Folie à Deux – October 4, 2024

We can’t wait to see Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker again and a love interest that’s not in his imagination. Lady Gaga plays the said love interest and we are looking forward to her portrayal of Harley Quinn.

Venom: The Last Dance – October 25, 2024

Hunted by everyone including those from Venom’s home world, Brock and Venom set off on one last hurrah. We love Tom Hardy and we love his Venom. Obviously, it looks to smash the box office.

Kraven the Hunter – December 13, 2024

Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Russell Crowe star in this Marvel comic , that’s heading to the big screen ready for Christmas. Mauled by a lion as a kid and taking on some of its power, Kraven aims to be the greatest hunter ever.

Captain America: Brave New World - February 14th 2025

Sam takes over from Steve Rogers, but this time the Captain has wings. A newly recruited president wants Captain America to be a part of the USA’s defence system. We expect to see more of the chemistry and bromance created between him and Bucky in the miniseries 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier'.

Superman – July 2025

There is so much confusion with this film, Henry Cavil appeared as Superman in ‘Black Adam’ then he made an announcement on social media saying that he was back as The Man of Steel - only to be replaced days later with a new actor in the role instead. The young David Corenswet (pictured) is penned as taking over the role.

Fantastic Four – July 2025

They have never really had much success with this franchise, but let's hope third time’s a charm for the Fantastic Four. Saying that, with the news that Robert Downey Jr. Will be Dr Doom, it will attract a lot more attention and hopefully box office sales.

Blade – November 2025

After the success of the original Blade films, where the half vampire and full time vampire hunter was played by Wesley Snipes, we wait to see if acclaimed actor Mahershala Ali can pull off the same appeal as the original.

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow – June 2026

After a successful T.V. series, Supergirl hits the big screen but with a different actress. Milly Alcock (House of the Dragon) takes over in a darker original story than we might be thinking.

The Batman 2 – October 2026

So many delays with this movie but we will eventually see The Batman return in Autumn 2026. If you’re getting Gotham withdrawals don’t worry, the Penguin's spin off series from the first film will be screening on HBO on September 19th this year.
