They are, hands down, the cutest royal couple in Europe
We think so. These are Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia of Sweden, but they could also be the stars of a new romantic comedy bedazzling Hollywood.
In this gallery, we'll show you all about the rebellious, rocking Prince Carl Philip; his love for fast cars and parties, and his relationship with the enchanting commoner Sofia.
The couple and their parents are so interesting that the Swedes are even making their own drama series about them! It's tentatively named 'Monarki' and is supposed to come out sometime at the end of the year, the Daily Mail reports.

Carl Philip of Sweden, fourth in line for the throne, is a popular, charismatic, and photogenic prince. Could he be the most handsome prince of Europe? Various media say so, but what is the story behind this aristocratic heartthrob?
Carl Philip, Duke of Värmland, was born in Stockholm on May 13, 1979. When he was born, this second son of Carl Gustav and Silvia of Sweden was the heir to a throne that only allowed men. But in January 1980, the progressive country enacted a decree that placed his older sister Victoria ahead of him. Equality between men and women left him without a crown, but this does not seem to have worried him too much.
With the birth of Victoria's children, princess Estelle (here in the photo with her parents and uncle) and prince Oscar, Carl Philip has now fallen to fourth place in the line of succession.
His height of 1.80 meters (or 5ft 10) and his athletic figure have always made Carl Philip one of the most desirable princes in Europe. When you add to that his rebellious character and passion for speed, it seems logical that Carl Philip of Sweden even had his own fan club.
Some members of the press described the young Carl Philip of Sweden as "lazy, a womanizer and a hustler". But that image changed radically in recent years.
Carl Philip earned his stripes in the Swedish army. He finished his military service in the Amphibious Infantry Battalion of the Vaxholm Coastal Artillery in 2000.
Eight years later, he became captain of the Swedish Navy.
Now he's a reserve officer.
Carl Philip of Sweden, like his father and sisters, is dyslexic. This caused him many problems at school, including bullying. This is why he has worked to eradicate bullying in schools throughout Sweden ever since he became a public figure.
According to his own family, Carl Philip of Sweden is an optimistic man by nature with a surprising sense of humor. His jokes reportedly helped to relieve moments of tension and stress in the Swedish Royal Family.
Among the many hobbies of Carl Philip of Sweden are photography and watching football. It is common to see the prince at big events for which the Swedish national team has qualified.
He also has the musical taste of a rebel. Among his favorite bands are Queen, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden and Guns ''n Roses. His playlists (probably on Spotify, the Swedish streaming app) always include 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and 'Run to the Hills'.
Carl Philip of Sweden is passionate about speed, both at sea and on the race track. He took part in the 2008 Volvo Ocean Race in Alicante (among other events).
The Swedish prince has a license to compete in motor racing and uses this permit more often than his family would like. It's not unusual to see him racing around in his beautiful Porsche 911 GT3-RS. His photos in racing suit and with the helmet in hand are iconic.
Despite his initial reputation as a man given to partying, Prince Carl Philip of Sweden now makes his own living. In 2012 he founded a design company together with designer Oscar Kylberg, in which they create everything from sunglasses to ceramic tableware and even a line of clothing for men and women. The company continues to operate and its popularity is steadily increasing.
In August 2010, the Swedish Royal House confirmed that Carl Philip of Sweden had a relationship with a young woman named Sofia Hellqvist. The stir was tremendous as the 26-year-old woman was known as the participant of a spicy Swedish reality show.
Sofia Hellqvist has an interesting background as a model. Photos in bikini and with snakes are part of her CV, as well as the title 'Miss Slitz' 2004. Of course the rebel prince had to find love in an unexpected corner, and of course his girlfriend was as rebellious as him.
In June 2015, after a five-year relationship, the couple got married in the Chapel of the Royal Palace in Stockholm. Carl Philip of Sweden designed the engagement and wedding rings himself.
From the day of the wedding, Sofia Hellqvist would become Sofia Christina of Sweden. After more than a decade together, the couple proves to be a perfect match. The Duke and his Duchess of Värmland have three children: Prince Alexander (2016), Prince Gabriel (2017), and Prince Julian (2021).
On Friday, March 26, 2021, Princess Sofia of Sweden gave birth to a baby boy. In 7 years, the cutest couple of the Royal Families of Europe already has a family of five!
In May 2018, Carl Philip and Sofia opened their own Instagram profile, @prinsparet. There, they share snapshots of their royal affairs and everyday family life. In addition, the two have published a 'Guide for Parents' that warns of the dangers of social media for children. The couple talks openly and directly about the risks of internet use for children and adolescents.
