Country singer Jake Flint passed away on his wedding night, on November 26, and his death was announced to the public four days later.

His manager Clif Doyal informed 'The Oklahoman' of the shocking death of the country singer at age 37.

The cause of his death has not been disclosed. 'The Oklahoman' does report that he lost his life while sleeping.

Brenda Flint, his wife and now a widow, has chosen to close her Instagram account and make it private, so she can cope with the tragedy among an inner circle of friends and family.

She did share a little bit of how the death of her husband was experienced by many who knew him. Brenda Flint shared publications of others who reflected on what had happened and how hard it is to face it.

For one, Brenda Flint shared a video of the wedding, in which Jake Flint appeared singing outdoors and kissing his wife, while a photographer took pictures of the couple. Next to the photo, she wrote the words: "I don't understand."

In another post, she reflected on her new and complicated reality. "We should be going through wedding photos but instead I have to pick out clothes to bury my husband in."

"People aren’t meant to feel this much pain," Brenda Flint wrote. "My heart is gone, and I just really need him to come back. I can’t take much more. I need him here."

Jake Flint became known in 2016 when he released his first studio album 'I'm Not Okay.' In 2019, he was chosen 'Emerging Artist of the Year' at the 'We Are Tulsa Music Awards'.

The elder Flint was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Multiple Sclerosis) and no longer able to play sports with his son, 'The Oklahoman' reported. At that moment, he opted for music.

Flint's father asked friends to teach him the guitar and take him to various regional Bluegrass festivals. This experience marked the future of the young Jake Flint.
