The shocking accident that killed Sienna Weir, Miss Universe Australia finalist, at 23
She was in the hospital for a month after a terrible accident. There must have been a glimpse of hope that Australian model Sienna Weir could still make it. Yet, she died on May 4th.

The young woman, only 23 years old, had been a finalist in the Miss Universe Australia pageant in 2022.
On April 2, 2023, she had a fateful accident with her horse at the Windsor Polo Grounds in Sydney, Australia. While few details were released, the Daily Mail described the fall as a 'freak accident.'
Sienna Weir was riding her horse when it tumbled on the polo grounds. Going down with the horse in its ugly fall, the model was seriously injured.
Sienna was immediately transferred to Westmead Hospital. There, she was kept on life support for nearly a month.
Family and friends held out hope that she could overcome the injuries caused by the fall. However, she was unable to recover.
"Forever in our hearts," her modeling agency Scoop Management wrote on social media. It shared a number of images suggesting Sienna was one of its great talents.
She had over 12k followers on Instagram and was well-loved. In each of her images, Sienna Weir smiled and showed her love for life.
On her social media, Sienna Weir portrayed her affection for animals.
She loved working as a model, traveling, working out, and posting about fashion on social media.
Among the products she promoted were teeth whitening kits and lingerie.
Sienna Weir graduated in psychology and literature in 2022 from the University of Sydney.
The model was jokingly called a "gremlin" by those closest to her, but to her grief-stricken boyfriend she was his 'sunflower girl.'
Posting about his 'sunflower girl,' Sienna's boyfriend cited a poem by Edgar Allen Poe who he said was her favorite. It read: "We loved with a love that was more than love."
Followers of the popular model reacted with shock to the news of her death. "Real life angel, you are forever missed and in our hearts," one of them said. Another added: "May you be with God forever in heaven!"
A religious follower wished that the model may "rest in peace and may the Lord Jesus send his angels to comfort your family and friends threw such sad times." Surely, comfort is what the loved ones of this young woman will need.
