The most unflattering statues in the world
We are fascinated by this image of Michael Jackson in porcelain with a monkey. It is the work of artist Jeff Koons.

British visual artist Marc Quinn poses with his solid gold statue of Kate Moss, titled 'Mermaid'. Although some will prefer the Disney version.
Supposedly Vito Corleone. Or Ronald McDonald, depending on how you look at it. We found it in front of the Italian restaurant Corleone, in the old town of Krakow.
This statue of American guitarist Jimi Hendrix should only be taken out at Halloween.
This bears no likeness whatsoever to Neymar, and it was erected in Fuzhou (China) to mark the start of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Zidane's infamous headbutt from the 2006 World Cup final is commemorated with this statue in Pietrasanta, in the Italian province of Lucca.
We find the sculpture of the character Rocky Balboa, played by Sylvester Stallone, in Philadelphia, although the resemblance between the bronze monument and the actor is more than debatable.
Another featuring Rocky, although it could be Elvis Presley with boxing gloves.
And speaking of Elvis Presley, this statue was seen at a veterans meeting in Frankfurt in October 2011. Impossible to forget it (sadly).
The Spanish Princess Leonor's wax figure in the Madrid Wax Museum has caused nightmares for more than one child (and the occasional adult).
According to the sculptor, it is Michael Jackson. We will have to believe him.
Alexandra Paul, one of the protagonists of the famous show 'Baywatch', is posing with her wax figure. Overall, it looks like a cross between Liza Minelli and Betty Rizzo from 'Grease', with a side-order of extreme tan.
Johnny stumbled across this statue of himself during Belgrade's Kutendorf film festival in 2010. He seems happy with it, but his fans are less-than-impressed.
Rafa Nadal dressed as a terracotta warrior ... and it could also be his cousin dressed to celebrate a strange carnival in a northern European country.
Andy Murray in Lego pieces. It's funny, although we do not know if the tennis player was happy with the result.
With how smug Cristiano Ronaldo is, he cannot be happy with how unrecognizable he appears in this statue that has been placed in Funchal, the footballer's hometown.
But much worse is this bust, which honours the Portuguese footballer at the Madeira International Airport.
Okay, the intention is cartoonish, but this Maradona statue is no less terrifying for that.
Marilyn Monroe was stylish, glamorous and popular. Everything this statue is not.

And since there are no two without three, here is Michael Jackson again, with this statue that has a smile that freezes blood.
