The heartbreaking death of influencer Haley Odlozil, 30 years old

On July 14, 2023, terminal ovarian cancer permanently cut short Haley Odlozil's life. She had been suffering from the disease for a while.

The 30-year-old influencer became famous for documenting and shedding light on a disease that had been part of her life for the last eight years. She was diagnosed back in 2015.

Haley Odlozil had no fear or qualms about showing the world what it was like to live, coexist and survive - for as long as she could - a terminal illness.

During her mission to raise awareness and visibility of cancer, she was always accompanied by her husband, Taylor, and her son, Weston.

The main goal of this family of influencers was to raise awareness among women around the world about the importance of screenings, taking care of oneself and how to manage day-to-day life with an incurable disease.

Her husband, in a long and emotional statement, announced the death of his wife, Haley Odlozil, on social media.

"It is with incredible sadness that I tell all of you that my sweet Haley has passed away. I cannot begin to describe the amount of pain and pain myself and our entire family are experiencing. I never knew my heart could hurt physically", the statement began.

Taylor Odlozil claims he never saw "someone fight so hard to live," noting that her love for family and friends "is what kept her going for so many years, especially the last eight months."

Despite the pain, Haley Odlozil's widower remembers the good things and "having had Haley in my life for 16 years. It has been a true honor to take care of her," he concludes.

Haley and Taylor had been a couple since high school and, therefore, when the influencer was diagnosed with cancer in 2015, the couple had already been in a relationship for several years.

Already at that time, as she herself explained in her social networks, the diagnosis she was given was fatal: the cancer was already in stage III.

Stage IIIC implies that the cancer had already metastasised through the outermost layer of the ovaries. But Hayley's cancer had also reached the lymph nodes, behind the peritoneum, and nearby organs.

Since that fateful day in 2015, Haley Odlozil had undergone several interventions, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Despite the odds, Haley and Taylor were clear about their desire to start a family and, in 2019 they achieved their wish. They welcomed the birth of Weston, their only child, through surrogacy.

Weston has been an important part of the influencer's social life since his birth, with a presence in many photos and videos on networks.

In order to cope with the grief, Taylor Odlozil has decided to put aside the social networks. He is focusing all his attention on his son and his new family reality - without the presence of his wife, Haley Odlozil. Rest in peace.
