Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello: a beautiful couple, now in the past

With absolute discretion and after seven years of marriage, Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello announced their separation. But what were the reasons that caused the break? Sources close to the actors revealed some of them.

Sofía Vergara is a Colombian actress who rose to fame with her role as Gloria during almost 10 seasons in the very successful series 'Modern Family'.

Joe Manganiello has had several participations in television such as 'True Blood', and 'One Three Hill', but it was with the movie 'Magic Mike' in which, showing "all" his attributes, he jumped to fame.

Their love story began at a White House dinner in 2014. Then, there was a wedding in Miami in 2015 and many happy appearances together on the red carpet. They seemed like one of the steadiest couples in Hollywood.

However, despite the words of affection in the statement, sources close to the couple revealed to 'People Español' that Vergara and Manganiello had been estranged for quite some time.

'People' claims that the couple has already put their Beverly Hills mansion up for sale. It is made up of seven bedrooms and eleven bathrooms. The mansion is for sale for 18 million dollars.

"They definitely love and respect each other, but once that initial passion dies and other areas get in the way, then the small differences get bigger," sources close to the couple told 'People'.

According to the information, Sofía Vergara (51) and Joe Manganiello (46) experienced an initial crush that kept them together, in love and passionate for several years. However, over time that flame has gone out.

"A passionate and encompassing romance, which kept the flames burning for quite some time," 'People' concludes.
