Shiloh Jolie-Pitt turns 16! Pictures of her amazing transformation
Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt was born in Namibia on May 27, 2006. She is the fourth (and first biological) child of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
Like any celebrity offspring, she has always been a target of the paparazzi. Now that she's a teenager, she's also searching for the spotlight at times, going to premieres with her mother.
The young woman's resemblance to her parents is undeniable.
In her most recent public appearances, on the red carpet with her mother during the premiere of 'Eternals', she stunned the world with her look.
In past years, the media had referred to Shiloh as male. Her parents had said that, from a young age, she had wanted to be addressed as a boy.
Brad Pitt said in 2008 on Oprah Winfrey's show that the two-year-old Shiloh had asked everyone to call her John or Peter, in honor of the characters in the movie 'Peter Pan.'
"At the moment, she just wants us to call her John … or Peter," the actor explained. "So when we ask her something, we have to say, for example: 'John, do you want more juice?'"
Angelina Jolie told Vanity Fair in 2010 that Shiloh felt like one of her brothers, so she wanted to cut her hair and wear clothes like them.
A jacket, tie and pants were the pieces that John/Shiloh used to wear.
For the release of the movie 'Maleficent 2' in Rome in 2019, Shiloh wore the same colour as her sister Zahara and her mum. Yet, she opted for a black sports jacket and pants.
In October 2021, at age 15, Shiloh chose to wear a dress to the 'Eternals' premiere in Los Angeles. It was a piece that her mother had worn in the past.
In fact, the dress worn by Shiloh is an adaptation of Angelina Jolie's original dress designed by Gabriela Hearts. Her sister Zahara also broke into her mother's wardrobe and chose the silver Balmain that Angelina Jolie wore at the Oscars in 2014.
Shiloh's hair is longer now - enough to wear it in a braided bun. She chose the striking hairdo and black dress for the Rome Film Festival, where her mother presented 'Eternals.'
Her new look breaks completely with the style she had in past years.
Like her sister Zahara, Shiloh likes to wear makeup and try out new styles of clothing. Of course, they have their fashionable mother as an example.
In any case, whether she wears dresses or pant suits, neither Shiloh nor her family has spoken about her gender identity again.
It's unclear whether the child of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie wants to keep being called John or whether it's Shiloh now.
In any case, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt looks happy, and that's the only important thing.
Shiloh appears in public as a self-assured teenager. The support of her family has undoubtedly had a great influence on her confidence.
On social media, Shiloh's face was compared to that of her grandmother. Actress Marcheline Bertrand is Angelina Jolie's mother and she looks like Shiloh, indeed.
Along with the other children of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Shiloh has done some work in Hollywood already. Perhaps she will follow in the footsteps of her parents and grandparents and become a famous actress.
For now, she seems to feel very comfortable at premieres, where she is already treated like a celebrity.
