A beautiful model, Leni Klum follows in her mother's footsteps

The new generation of supermodels is here. Cindy Crawford, Kate Moss, and Vanessa Paradis have made room for Kaia Gerber, Lila Grace Moss, and Lily-Rose Depp. To this group, we may now add a beautiful newcomer: Leni Klum. 

Leni Klum made her debut as a model at a young age. But she had the example and support of her mother: Heidi Klum!

Leni Klum, born in May 2004, is the daughter of the German model Heidi Klum and the businessman Flavio Briatore. The latter has never recognized her as his daughter though.

The British musician Seal adopted Leni Klum when he was married to her mother.

Although Heidi Klum is a public figure whose face is known around the world, she has always protected the privacy of her daughter.

Leni Klum wanted to enter the fashion world as a young child. But Heidi did not allow her daughter to start modeling until she was 16.

"It was only a matter of time before I tried to model myself," Leni told the German edition of Vogue. "My first offer came when I was only twelve or thirteen, from a brand I loved to wear: Brandy Melville."

"I begged mom, but no chance! I now understand that it would have been too early [to start modeling then]," she told Vogue Germany. 

The Klums' mother-daughter relationship is characterized by absolute trust. Leni has no qualms about saying publicly to her mother: "The way you act is sometimes embarrassing to others," she says in Vogue. "Like some of the dances you do."

"We are very good friends and I'll tell her everything," Leni says about her mom.

Leni also addressed her mother directly in the Vogue interview: "Well, I don't know what you were up to when you were younger. But I think you did well," she says. "You're fun - the way you've become." Still, she has to stress once again that "some of your dances are very embarrassing."

Both Leni and Heidi appear happy, radiant and deeply connected to each other. Heidi's husband Tom Kaulitz, member of the band Tokyo Hotel, has a lot to do with it.

Despite their age difference, the musician and the model complement each other perfectly. Leni loves the guy, just like she loves her three siblings from the Klum-Seal marriage.

Proof of their great relationship is that, before proposing to Heidi, Tom asked all of her children for permission. That was a very nice gesture. 

Leni Klum and Tom Kaulitz also have a friendship tattoo that consists of three small dots on the inside of their fingers.

It's not the only thing Leni has in common with her stepfather. Their styles, with jeans from Wrangler, but also "simple unbranded clothing," are her and Tom's favorite clothes for everyday life.

Of course, Leni Klum also wears Dolce & Gabbana or Versace to galas as if she has never done anything else in her life. Fashion is undoubtedly in her blood.

Incidentally, Leni Klum uses every opportunity to deny that her name is Helene Boshoven Samuel. You just have to go to her Instagram account to see that she likes to be called Leni Olumi Klum.

Her Instagram following grew fast in just 12 months. On her 16th birthday, Leni went online with this picture of herself as a child.

Leni Klum has focused 100% on her modeling career, which has just begun. At age 16, she shared her first cover with her mother in Hunger Magazine. Another followed in Glamour Germany.

At the end of August 2021, Leni Klum looked radiant in Venice. Accompanied by her mother, she walked the runway for Dolce & Gabbana during the presentation of her haute couture collection.

However, that wasn't the only big label that the heir to the German supermodel signed. Chopard chose her as the face of its brand, and she was also one of the most famous models at the Berlin Fashion Week. Just imagine what she will have ahead of her!
