Justin Bieber cancels world tour for second time due to health concerns
Justin Bieber has announced he needs to put his Justice World Tour on hold once again due to health concerns. This is the second time Bieber has had to suspend portions of his tour.
The Canadian singer shocked fans when he shared a video in June on Instagram explaining he is suffering from facial paralysis due to a diagnosis of Ramsay Hunt syndrome.
The 28-year-old pop star told fans in a video, "As you can see this eye is not blinking. I can't smile on this side of my face... So there's full paralysis on this side of my face."
According to medical experts, this condition occurs when a shingles outbreak affects the nerve near the ears and is known as Ramsay Hunt syndrome.
The singer could not complete the North American portion of his tour due to his health problems. However, in July, he resumed touring and was able to perform for his European fans.
Unfortunately, performing so frequently has been hard on Justin's health. Bieber shared on Instagram, "After resting and consulting with my doctors, family, and team, I went to Europe in an effort to continue the tour," the statement reads. "I performed six live shows, but it really took a real toll on me."
Bieber went on to explain that after his performance at Rock in Rio in Brazil, "the exhaustion overtook me, and I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now."
Justin told his fans that he needs to put his tour on pause once again: "So I'm going to take a break from touring for the time being. I'm going to be ok, but I need time to rest and get better."
Justin Bieber's health woes are slowing down the 'Bieber's Justice World Tour,' which started back in February.
This is not the first health issue that Justin Bieber has had to deal with in recent years. Click on to read about the Canadian singer's rise to fame, struggles, and how he found support and love with his wife, Hailey Bieber.
Justin Bieber was born on March 1st, 1994, and grew up in Stratford, Ontario.

His mother raised him alone, and money was tight, but despite this, his mom encouraged his interest in music. Here, we see 12-year-old Justin playing on the streets of Stratford.
Justin Bieber was just a 14-year-old boy when one of the songs he performed and uploaded to YouTube went viral.
In 2008, former music industry executive Scooter Braun discovered Justin and relaunched his career by becoming the promising young singer's manager.
At just 15 years of age, the young Canadian would sign a contract with Raymond Braun Media Group (RBMG) and another with Island Records.
He then released his first single in 2009, 'One Time,' and then his first album, 'My World,' released in 2010.
Justin Bieber's first international hit came with the release of his single 'Baby' in 2010, and the video clip of the song was one of the most viewed on YouTube with more than 300 million views in just a few weeks.
As a result, he became known internationally, gaining numerous new fans of his music. His rise to fame from this point on was unstoppable.
Justin Bieber went from being adored by fifteen-year-olds in the United States to dominating the music industry internationally, dominating the billboard, and having a massive impact on social media. He even won the 'Artist of the Year' Award from the American Music Awards in 2010.
With worldwide fame comes constant press and harassment from paparazzi. Justin had to deal with many rumors about himself and his relationship with Selena Gómez.
Then, when Bieber had his first brushes with the law, the press went wild. Being a teen heartthrob can be very stressful.
Before his first arrest in Brazil in 2014, Bieber had already had several incidents with authorities, including drunk driving, reckless driving, and acts of vandalism.
The image of an innocent young teen singer was being chipped away, and fans weren't sure if they liked what they were seeing.
So much attention, fame, and fortune are hard to handle at such a young age. Perhaps that is the motive behind why Justin began acting out.
The young performer continued to have problems with the law for throwing eggs at his neighbor's house in Calabasas after a night of partying; in Miami, he was arrested for driving without a license and while under the influence of alcohol and drugs. He even was accused of assaulting a limousine driver in Toronto, among other actions.
The relationship Justin had with Selena Gómez had a huge impact on the Canadian singer's life. The couple were practically children when they developed feeling for each other, but the intensity of teen love can come at a price. Their rocky relationship came at a cost for both, especially for Selena Gómez.
The couple broke up on several occasions for various reasons, such as jealousy, immaturity, lack of confidence. This resulted in a toxic relationship, which ultimately ended in 2018 when the pair broke up for good.
According to Vanity Fair magazine, this caused serious physical and psychological damage to the singer. Justin ended up needing professional help to deal with the issues that arose from it.
Justin Bieber has confessed that one of his big issues in life has been his strong addiction to drugs. According to an interview with Vogue magazine in 2019, the singer said that during the 'Purpose Tour,' he found himself self-medicating for his depression.
This resulted in an addiction to a drug that could have endangered his life. In the interview, Bieber said he was so depressed he became disinterested in music and felt very lonely.
After all these incidents and his painful break-up with Selena, he understood the cost his poor decisions were having on his career and personal life. He decided he had to make changes to improve both his mental and physical health.
For these motives, in mid-2018, Justin announced he needed to take time away from the music industry's chaos to reflect on his life and heal.
Even though everything indicated that drugs were the motive of his time off, the artist denied it. On his Instagram account, he claimed that he had decided to take a break because he had Lyme disease.
During his professional break from the world of music, the young Canadian singer became even closer to an old friend: American model Hailey Baldwin.
With Hailey, Justin found love again, the pair had always had a lot of chemistry, and now they were both more mature and ready for an adult relationship. The couple formed a close relationship very quickly, and in a short time, they were engaged to be married.
Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber met in 2009, through Hailey's father, but they didn't talk to each other much. It was during their adolescence that they became great friends, getting together on numerous occasions.
According to Cosmopolitan, it was not until 2016 that Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber confirmed that they were informally dating. Later, in 2018, Bieber confirmed on Instagram he was in a serious relationship with the model.

In July of 2018, Justin Bieber got engaged to Hailey Baldwin in the Bahamas. By September 2018, the two confirmed that they had been married in an intimate civil ceremony and planned on having a larger wedding later on.
At first glance, their first year of marriage was idyllic, full of holidays, love, and creating a home together, but not everything was picture perfect.

Bieber fell into another depression, but Hailey Bieber stepped up and supported her husband. With the love and support of Hailey, Justin made a quick recovery.

Even though the couple were already husband and wife, they still had not had a proper ceremony. On August 29, 2019, the couple decided to celebrate with their family and closest friends in a hotel complex in South Carolina.

After his break from the music industry, Justin wanted his recent life experiences to be reflected in his music.

As a result, there has been a great change in his current music style, with more acoustic songs focused on his personal transformation, a drastic change from his previous style of music.
After several years in the shadows, Justin's return to the spotlight has brought with it several new projects. He released his new album 'Changes,' but he also recorded a documentary called 'Justin Bieber: Seasons' about his personal life.
In this documentary, Bieber opens up to fans about the tough times he has gone through, his addiction to drugs, depression, and how his immaturity impacted his life. 2020, without a doubt, was a turning point in the life and career of Justin Bieber.

Justin was adamant that he wanted to share his problems with drugs with his fans in the documentary. In an episode of the documentary, Bieber acknowledges that he had been fooling around with drugs since he was 12 years old, which resulted in an unhealthy dependence that had to end.

Despite great support from his wife, Hailey Bieber, and his fantastic professional comeback, it is clear that Justin's past continues to haunt him.
The star continues to struggle with depression both due to the choices he made as a young teen star and due to his childhood.
In Vogue USA magazine, Justin admitted he has had to seek spiritual guidance and psychological support to help him deal with his issues, many of which he claims stem from the difficult relationship with his father and his mother's depression.

Recently, things seem to be improving on a personal level a lot for Justin. On Instagram, for example, he appears to be interacting more with his father, from whom he was previously estranged.
Most recently, he wished his father a 'Happy Birthday' on Instagram. On his father, Jeremy Bieber's account, we see photos like this one. Justin and his wife Hailey interacting with Justin's little sister at his father's home.

Justin and Hailey are both devout Christians and have not been shy about sharing their beliefs. The couple both attribute their faith to their successes, and Justin has even spoken about it on Instagram.

In a mother's day post in 2021, Justin wrote, It was there when I remembered what you taught me, "...JESUS LOVES AND FORGIVES ME. That saved my life and now I walk with him everywhere that I go! Thank you mom for giving me something ETERNAL! Best gift I could ever receive ❤️"
On the website, A Conversation With, Hailey Bieber spoke about the importance of the couple's faith. “They ask me all the time, ‘What would you say is the biggest thing in your relationship? You guys are really happy. And I’m like, ‘It’s our faith.’ It's what we believe in. If we didn’t have that, we wouldn't even be together.”

In any case, at 28 years of age, Justin seems to have finally found his way. The happily married singer began his world tour in February 2022, and fans have been very excited about seeing Justin perform again.
According to Complex.com, Justin was very excited about the tour, saying, "We're working hard to make this tour the best one yet. I'm excited to get out there and engage with my fans again."
However, with Justin's latest health problem of facial paralysis, many fans will have to wait a little longer for the Canadian to perform in their area. So far his diagnosis of Ramsay Hunt syndrome has forced him to cancel shows in Toronto and Washington.
Will he have to cancel more performances in coming weeks? Many patients with Bieber's condition make a full recovery, however some do not. Justin Bieber fans can only hope and pray that the performer's health improves quickly.
