Jacqueline Wong is a famous Hong Kong actress who first gained recognition through her work with TVB. Since 2019, however, she is better known for being the other woman involved in a scandal involving singer Andy Hui, the husband of cantopop royalty Sammi Cheng.
Jacqueline Wong was born in New York City on January 23, 1989, and later relocated to Vancouver, British Columbia, where she remained until she completed her studies at the University of British Columbia.
Jacqueline Wong entered the Miss Hong Kong Pageant in 2012 after graduating from university, and she eventually won first runner-up! This, too, landed her a contract with TVB, and she began her career as an actress in 2013.
Jacqueline Wong rose to prominence as a TVB actress, appearing in several successful dramas. Prior to the scandal, her on-screen presence and acting abilities earned her a devoted fan base and industry recognition as one of the most recognizable faces in Hong Kong media.
Some of Jacqueline's most famous works include ‘Come Home Love: Lo and Behold’, ‘Deep in the Realm of Conscience’, and ‘Finding Her Voice’.
Jacqueline Wong was in a serious relationship with TVB actor Kenneth Ma for about three years before her scandal in 2019. According to Jayne Stars, the couple met during the filming of ‘Inspector Gourmet’ back in 2015 and began dating soon after.

The Straits Times reported that Jacqueline Wong was an avid fan of Kenneth Ma before she started dating him, so her infidelity came as a shock to fans and the media, who had love for the couple, who were both dating with marriage in mind.
In April 2019, Jacqueline Wong became embroiled in a scandal involving singer Andy Hui, the husband of Hong Kong superstar Sammi Cheng. According to Asia One, the couple was caught kissing in a taxi after dashcam footage of their encounter was leaked online, causing public outrage and disappointment.
Andy Hui was quickly forgiven by his wife, Sammi Cheng, following the scandal, despite the backlash from her public forgiveness of her cheating husband on both sides. Jaqueline Wong's relationship with Kenneth Ma, on the other hand, was irreconcilable and ended shortly after.
Kenneth Ma eventually moved on from his relationship with Jacqueline and is now happily married to TVB actress Roxanne Tong, who was previously a close friend of Jacqueline's.

It appears that Jacqueline Wong's new song contains multiple allusions to the 2019 event. A line from Jacqueline Wong's song, "I've got my personality revised," may be a hint at how the 2019 scandal has inspired a fresh start.

In a surprising demonstration of grace, Sammi Cheng has shown her support for Jacqueline's comeback in an Asia One report, stating that everyone deserves a new beginning and the chance to start anew.
Kenneth Ma has also expressed his support for Jacqueline's new relationship and career, wishing her happiness and success in her future endeavours in a report from The Straits Times.
2023 remains a better year for Jacqueline Wong as it was reported last month that the now-singer is rumored to have registered for marriage with Lai Man Wang, according to an 8days report.

The happy news, however, was accompanied by some intriguing information regarding the date of her marriage registration. According to Dimsum Daily, the chosen registration date, August 12th, also happens to be Andy Hui's birthday.

According to The Star, netizens reacted skeptically to the news, speculating that the sudden news of Jacqueline Wong registering her marriage was simply so that she could marry before her ex, Kenneth Ma, who was also set to marry in the same year.

Despite the fact that her musical comeback has received a poor reception in comparison to Andy Hui's, who has been forgiven by the public and his wife, we wish Jaqueline Wong the best in her new marriage and life.
