This happened in 2023: Adele got married

We knew that Adele and Rich Paul were engaged, because 'the ring' had been all over the internet. But few were aware of the actual wedding ceremony that recently took place.

It appears to have been thé secret wedding of the year. Not until Adele disclosed it herself, we found out.

On her friend Alan Carr's show, she casually told the audience that she was happily married to Rich Paul. It was as simple at that.

The episode of Alan Carr's comedy show will soon be broadcast, but the surprising revelation has already been leaked by one of the show's attendees. Of course, such big news is very difficult to contain.

Someone in the audience of Alan Carr's comedy show leaked the news through an account that is especially dedicated to sharing content about pop music: 'Demuxmoi'. "I was at Alan Carr's comedy show in LA tonight," the anonymous Instagramer reports, "and Adele was in the audience."

The story continues: "Alan asked the crowd if anyone got married recently and Adele shouted 'I did."

Of course, the news immediately spread like wildfire. International media have followed up on the Instagram post to report the news that they themselves had not been able to gather from Adele and Rich Paul.

It should be noted that attentive followers of Adele had already picked up on some clues about a possible wedding in recent weeks.

The singer herself had made some suggestive statements. For example, at one point, she said: "I'm not the greatest wife when it comes to football," referring to her partner's work as a sports manager. Of course, the word 'wife' had everyone guessing.

On another telling occasion, a fan at one of her concerts proposed to Adele, and she responded: "You can't marry me, I'm straight my love. And my husband's here tonight." Again, she was using the term that only married couples would.

In February 2023, the Daily Mail broke the news that the singer had gotten engaged to Rich Paul. By that time, Adele and her boyfriend had already been seen together for a few years.

The relationship between Adele and Rich Paul became public in July 2021, when they attended an NBA game as a couple.

Before Rich Paul, Adele was married to Simon Konecki. They were together for seven years but separated in 2019.

With Simon Konecki, Adele has a son, Angelo. She shares custody of the boy with Konecki.

Insiders have told the media that Rich Paul has a very good relationship with the 11-year-old.

...this must be the (secret) wedding of the year. We have no photos, no video, no information about wedding gowns or vows. And yet, our imagination and the unlimited popularity of Adele do enough work to make this one of the showbiz events of the year.
