Celebrities who died in the past month
Technoblade, the avatar in Minecraft, will still exist but the person behind him, Alexander, has passed away. The gamer was an anonymous but highly popular YouTuber whose identity became partly known when his father read a farewell letter to his millions of viewers on the day he died. A picture of the gamer, whose 20-something life was cut short by cancer, was also shown that day.

The British presenter and activist Dame Deborah James died at the age of 40 due to colon cancer that was diagnosed in 2016. In recent years she dedicated herself to raising money and narrating the fight against this disease on the podcast 'You, Me and the Big C' on BBC Radio 5. Two weeks before she passed away, James made an appearance at Royal Ascot (photo).
Canadian comedian Nick Nemeroff passed away from unknown causes at the age of 32. He had been an up-and-coming star with performances at Conan O'Brien's show and a Juno nomination for his comedy album in 2021.

The American actress Mary Mara, famous for her roles in series such as 'ER', 'Law and order' and 'Ray Donovan', lost her life on June 26 at the age of 61. She drowned in the St. Lawrence River, in Cape Vincent, New York.
American actor Philip Baker Hall ("the man with the Basset-Hound look" as actor John C. Reilly once said) died at the age of 90 at his home in Los Angeles. He was a great Hollywood secondary. Among his 185 appearances in film and television, there's his legendary appearance as library cop Lt. Bookman in the sitcom 'Seinfeld.'
Brazilian model Gleycy Correia, Miss United Continents Brazil 2018, died on after being in a coma since April. It had been caused by a routine tonsil operation resulting in the rare complication of a brain hemorrhage. She was 27 years old.

The young basketball player Caleb Swanigan, formerly of Portland and Sacramento, died at the age of 25. The Allen County Coroner's Office confirmed to 'Wane 15' that the athlete died of natural causes at his Fort Wayne home.
The Turkish film actor, director and producer was known for participating in what the 'Turkish Star Wars'. He died at the age of 84.
Actors and musicians Raymundo Garduño Cruz and Juan Francisco González Aguilar lost their lives in a tragic accident while filming the Netflix series 'The Chosen One' at the coast of Baja California in Mexico.

At the age of 80, the musician Jim Seals passed away. Together with Darrell Crofts he formed the duo Seals & Crofts, central to seventies' pop music with songs like 'Summer Breeze' and 'Diamond Girl'.
Another American music legend passed away. Alex John Such, bassist for Bon Jovi's original lineup until 1994, died at the age of 70. His death was of natural causes, TMZ reports.
