Celebrities murdered in 2022
The picture shows the famous Australian surfer Chris Davidson in a picture from 2012 in California. Sadly, the athlete was killed ten years later by an individual who punched him in the face as he left a bar in New South Wales (Australia), causing him to lose his balance, fall to the ground, and fatally hit his head.
However, his story is not the only one. In 2022, several popular celebrities died of unnatural causes.
American singer, rapper, and songwriter PnB Rock, whose real name was Rakim Hasheem Allen, was shot dead on 12th September at the age of 30 in an attempted robbery while eating with his partner at Roscoe's House of Chicken & Waffles, a California restaurant.
Although he arrived at the hospital alive, he died within minutes of arrival. A couple and their son were arrested for the assault.
Kirshnik Khari Ball, the famous American rapper known as Takeoff (member of the trio Migos), lost his life on Halloween night outside a Houston bowling alley in a shooting incident.
Sgt Michael Burrow said the death was unintentional but a 33-year-old man named Patrick Xavier Clark and a 22-year-old man named Cameron Joseph were also arrested. Takeoff was 28 years old.
American rapper Latauriisha O'Brien, known artistically as Half Ounce, died on 3 October at the age of 32 on the streets of Los Angeles, California, following a shooting.

Local media reported that a black SUV drove up to the singer and from the back seat someone started shooting at him and then drove away. At the time of the incident, he was talking to his partner on the phone, who was pregnant with their fourth child.

The Brazilian influencer and entrepreneur was murdered in her home in the Santa Maria de Aracaju neighbourhood in the Brazilian state of Sergipe. She was 23 years old and had more than 60,000 followers on Instagram.

The New York Post reported that the influencer was shot by two masked men on a motorbike. Upon arriving at her home, they entered through the front door and shot her multiple times.

Canadian DJ Patrick Wayne Stay, better known as Pat Stay, lost his life at the age of 36 on 4th September after being stabbed in the middle of a brawl in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Pat Stay, who was a father of two, made it to hospital alive, but died shortly afterwards from the severity of his injuries. Just two days before his death, he had released the track 'The Game DISS'.

American boxer Isiah Jones lost his life at the age of 28 from a gunshot to the head from his own brother, Detroit police said.

Isiah's coach, Roshawn Jones, confirmed the news of this unfortunate loss and said it was indeed a result of a family dispute.

Australian surfer Chris Davidson died on 24th September, aged 45, after being punched in the face outside a pub in New South Wales, Australia. Davidson fell to the ground and fatally hit his head.
The famous surfer, a father of two daughters, arrived at Kempsey Hospital alive, but later died as a result of the trauma. The perpetrator, Grant Coleman, who was arrested, is the brother of the coach of the NSW Waratahs, Sydney's rugby team.
On 8th July, Shizo Abe, who was Japan's prime minister from December 2012 to September 2020, was shot twice during a rally near Yamato-Saidaijien train station in the Japanese city of Nara.
The former president was 67 years old. The man responsible for the assassination, a disturbed lone wolf, was arrested and taken to Nara Nishi police station.
Bobby East, an American USAC, ARCA and NASCAR driver, was stabbed in the chest on 13th July by a bystander named Trent Millsap, who had a warrant for his arrest on a parole violation.
Bobby East, 37, was pumping gas at a gas station in Westminster, California, when he became involved in an argument with his would-be killer, who stabbed him in the chest with a sharp object. Police later located him in a flat in the city of Anaheim and, after a confrontation, he was shot and killed.
JayDaYoYoungan, a rapper from Bogalusa, Louisiana, whose real name was Javorius Scott, died on 27th July in a Louisiana hospital after being shot outside his home. He was 24 years old and the father of one child.
According to local media, the murder could be revenge after a previous traffic accident between the rapper and the killers, in which an initial shooting had already taken place. The artist's father was also injured in the incident.
Archie Eversole, a famous American rapper known for the song 'We Ready', lost his life on 3rd April, aged 37, after being shot at a gas station in the United States a few days earlier, on 25 March.
According to TMZ, Alexander Kraus, the rapper's brother, was charged with murder and booked into Dekalb County Jail.
Paraguayan influencer Cristina 'Vita' Aranda, wife of Paraguayan Olimpia footballer Iván Torres, lost her life on 31st January after being shot in the head in the middle of a music festival in the city of San Bernardino (Paraguay).

She was treated by doctors in a hospital in a very serious condition and finally passed away. Initial reports suggested that she may have been caught in the middle of a settling of scores between two drug traffickers. Another person, apparently the real target of the criminals, died with her.
