BAFTAs 2024 red carpet: the best and worst looks

For the second year in a row, the Royal Festival Hall at London's Southbank Centre hosted the BAFTAs gala. It was the meeting point for a host of stars who shone on their own on a spectacular red carpet.

Everyone wants to look their best on the red carpet and the BAFTAs 2024 were no exception. These were the best - and some of the worst - looks from the red carpet.

Red, Valentino, Tiffany & Co and Dua Lipa is a perfect combination - so how could it not work? This spectacular Pierpaolo Piccioli design, with infinity cape, was the clear winner of the red carpet.

As usual this awards season, the actress took a Barbie design and made it shine on the red carpet. On this occasion, a beautiful two-tone design by Armani Privé.

Always original, the actress opted for a Harris Reed design with a spectacular silver corset and cape.

Perfectly unique, Paul Mescal opted for this Gucci design and Cartier jewellery.

Another black and white number... a surprising 40s-inspired Haute Couture Tamara Ralph design, with puffed sleeves covered by roses.

Margot Robbie is not the only one who has been inspired by her character to look stylish. Emma Stone opted for a custom Louis Vuitton inspired by Bella Baxter, the character of 'Poor Things' that can (and should) give her the second Oscar.

Optng for timeless Chanel, Naomi Campbell's layered ruffles went down a treat on the red carpet.

This look from Boss is absolutely stunning. Flared pants, navy blue jacket, sash, bow and and eye catching flower detail. One of the most elegant celebrities of the 21st century adorned the look with jewellery from Tiffany & Co.

The best look at the BAFTAs? Undoubtedly in the top 3. A beautiful, asymmetrical design by Sabina Bilenko went to Charithra Chandran and she wore it in spectacular fashion.

He has been - and will be - Ken, forever, and he continues live up to it by looking the part, wearing spectacular designs like this Gucci.

We love this Gucci number with plunging neckline with metallic shorts. Colour, tick. Design, tick. Fun element, tick. Winner.

Transparent fabric and sequins signed by Elie Saab was Emily Blunt's surprising, and wise, choice.

We don't know if anyone accepted the hug Callum Turner was offering in the photo, but we do know that perfect suit is from Burberry.

There was quite a bit of silver on the red carpet but few people wore it as well as Sandra Hüller in this fabulous Louis Vuitton.

Simple but jaw-dropping Vivienne Westwood design in white with silver detail at the neckline.

Blanchett's Louis Vuitton has left the whole world speechless. A groundbreaking design with lined collar and shoulder pads, body chain detail and a majestic burgundy color.

This particular red carpet didn't have too many back necklines, so this vintage Gucci by Tom Ford design deservedly stood out.

We are undecided on this asymmetrical, silver design, with fringe detail on chest and hip, signed by Loewe.
