A model surgically enlarged her legs and now regrets it

Theresia Fischer (31) is a German celebrity who participated, in reality, in shows such as 'Germany's Next Topmodel' and 'Celebrity Big Brother'. She recently told the MDR Jump program about the leg lengthening operation she underwent.

Although she did not consider herself small, at 5 feet 7 inches tall, Fischer was repeatedly encouraged by her then-husband, Thomas Berend, to have the drastic procedure.

According to Theresia Fischer, Behrend expressed the desire for her to look like a "typical model" and believed that increasing her height by up to 14 centimeters could help her in this regard.

Fischer, who had 8.5 centimeters longer legs on 'Germany's Next Topmodel' in 2019, after a first operation in 2016, reached 1.84 meters in height at the beginning of 2023, since, in 2022, he added 5. 5cm.

She also admitted, in the interview, that she feels ashamed of having agreed to the operation, as she has always been happy with her body. According to German media, the entire process cost more than 150,000 euros.

Fischer described her relationship with Behrend as toxic and accused him of being a narcissist. She explained that her ex-husband isolated her and separated her from her family, which led to a disagreement with her parents.

After their live, televised wedding in 2019, Fischer noted that her husband wanted a life that looked like something out of a glossy magazine. In September 2022, the couple finally separated.

Her ex-boyfriend, Stefan, with whom she had a relationship when she was young, helped her break free from her unhealthy marriage.

Today, Fischer is in a new relationship and working to come to terms with her previous relationship. Her goal now is to help others recognize the warning signs of toxic relationships.
