Elon Musk wants to fight Nicolás Maduro
In recent months, if Elon Musk has made one thing very clear, it is that he wants to fight someone. And the chosen one, now, seems to be the Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro.
Since the elections in Venezuela, the billionaire businessman has used his profile on X to attack the politician and show his disagreement with the election results.
Obviously, Nicolás Maduro has responded, calling Elon Musk "our new archenemy."
It was in a public event, in which the Venezuelan president went further, ensuring that "Whoever gets involved with me dries out. I am not afraid of you,” he said in Spanish. “Let’s go at it. Wherever you want. As we say in Caracas in the neighborhoods, if you want it, I want it, Elon Musk.”
It didn't take even 24 hours for Elon Musk to accept the challenge, however, he did say on X he thinks that Maduro "will chicken out."
What's more, the businessman did not take long to establish the conditions and consequences of a defeat in the hypothetical fight. Conditions, let's say, that are somewhat unfair.
"If I win, he resigns as dictator of Venezuela. If he wins, I give him a free ride to Mars," Elon Musk said on X.
And we think that it doesn't seem fair because Elon Musk is one of the richest men in the world and a trip to Mars, no matter how expensive, is something he can afford. Perhaps, it would be fair that if the businessman loses, he resigns as CEO of all his companies.
Be that as it may, it will be a tall fight, since Elon Musk is 1.88 meters tall, compared to Nicolás Maduro's 1.90 meters. Of course, the politician (1962) is 9 years older than Elon Musk (1971), something that could also influence the fight.
That said, it remains to be seen if the fight ends up being held or remains an empty threat as happened with the one between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg.
