Jennifer Aniston is not the first celebrity to suffer from the fad known as ‘Swatting’ .

According to TMZ, other celebrities such as Tom Cruise, Miley Cyrus, Rihanna (pictured) and Nicki Minaj have also had unexpected visits from the police in recent months.

The dark problem is that in Jennifer Aniston's case, the person who called the police claimed that the person in the house was at risk of self-harming, according to the media.

Obviously, the caller chose to remain anonymous, claiming that they did not want to get into trouble with the person in the house, whose identity was also withheld, but the address indicated a high-class area.

Police, according to TMZ, even contacted Jennifer Aniston by phone to ensure her well-being before and after arriving at her home.

And because it involves Jennifer Aniston, the case is directly related to what happened to Matthew Perry, the actress's long-time friend, who was found dead in his home almost a year ago.
