The moving story of Ella Bleu, daughter of John Travolta

The life of Ella Bleu, daughter of John Travolta and Kelly Preston, was not always a bed of roses. As a child, she went through several difficult situations.

Early in her life, Ella had to face the deaths of her older brother and mother, as well as a bullying problem at school. In the gallery, we recount her story and see how she is today.

Born in April 2000, Ella Bleu Travolta is the second daughter of John Travolta and Kelly Preston. They formed one of the most popular couples in Hollywood.

Due to her parents' work, the young woman grew up between Florida and Los Angeles. Constant traveling was fine with her, unlike the harassment she suffered at school from her classmates.

The blow devastated the family and, as John Travolta has commented on several occasions, the wound never healed. Despite everything, the family moved forward and became more united than ever.

Fate had another blow in store for the Travoltas. In 2018, Kelly Preston was diagnosed with br ea st cancer. She underwent treatment for two years but on July 12, 2020, she lost the fight against the disease at the age of 57.

At age 20, Ella Bleu had to say goodbye to her mother. She found the strength to pay tribute to her mom on Instagram.

"I have never met anyone as courageous, strong, beautiful and loving as you. Anyone who is lucky enough to have known you or to have ever been in your presence will agree that you have a glow and a light that never ceases to shine," Ella Bleu wrote to her mom.

Today, the Travolta family is made up of three people: John, Ella Bleu, and the young Benjamin, born in 2010.

Supporting each other, the Travolta family persevered and celebrated an achievement for Ella Bleu in 2021.

At the time, she was selected to perform in an adaptation of 'Alice in Wonderland', along with talents like James Cromwell and Terrence Howard.

It wasn't the first time Ella Bleu appeared in a film, by the way. She made her debut in 2009 with a role in 'The Poison Rose' alongside her father and his colleagues Morgan Freeman and Brendan Fraser. In addition, she worked on 'Old Dogs' in 2009.

In February 2020, father and daughter starred in an ad that aired during the Super Bowl final. There, they recovered some dance moves from Travolta's legendary 'Saturday Night Fever'. As a result, Ella Bleu released the tracks 'Dizzy' and 'No Thank You' in 2022.
