There were 8 seasons, 192 episodes and countless laughs that 'Full House' provided to the masses. The sudden death of Bob Saget has reminded the world of the outstanding success that this ABC sitcom had.

25 years of friendship

25 years and a spinoff on Netflix (Fuller House) later, the Tanners have maintained their family spirit. They have all kept in touch, but how have they stood the test of time?

Jodie Sweetin

She was 5 years old when she started playing Stephanie Tanner in the series. In this photo, she was 11 years old and was, incredibly, already a star.

Californian beauty

Time has been good to the actress, who doesn't look as though she was born in 1982, nor that she's gone through three divorces. Her smile gives her away: she is still that bubbly, charming girl at heart.

John Stamos

Uncle Jesse was only 24 years old when he started the series. The success of the show would go on to make him one of the most desirable men in the world.

Golden

He was born in 1963, and could, to this day, have his body used to make a mannequin mould. Along with his model wife, they share a daughter and a jewellery line, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Childhelp foundation. He's handsome AND a good guy!

Bob Saget

The loss of this actor recently has made it clear that, as well as being the head of the Tanner family, he was the father everyone imagined: kind, gentle and funny.

He was only 65 years old

Bob Saget died at the age of 65, in the middle of a comedy tour across the United States. He is still held in high esteem by many and he passed away without anyone ever uttering a single bad word against him. Few in the star system can say that.

Ashley and Mary Kate Olsen

They were barely a year old when the series began and the world watched them grow up and take turns on screen to play little Michelle.

Away from the camera, for now

After a childhood of exposure and glitz, the Olsen twins (1986) decided to step back from public life and enjoy some well-deserved privacy as well as other business ventures. Now, it is their sister, Elizabeth, who is having her turn in the spotlight.

Andrea Barber

Kimmy Gibbler was as desperate as she was necessary in the series. Gibbler had rebellious nature that got herself into all kinds of trouble and Barber started playing the character at the age of 11.

Still got it

The stunning Andrea Barber continued in the Netflix spin-off, 'Fuller House', and showed that she could also play the 'mother' all these years later. She also proved that she is an accomplished dancer.

Candace Cameron

The actress who played the oldest Tanner sister, D.J., was 11 years old when filming began and she always had a permanent smile on her face.

She still wears the same smile

Candace Cameron's (1976) smile remains unchanged, although the death of her on-screen father has been an unexpected challenge for her.

Dave Coulier

Uncle Joey was 28 years old when the first season of 'Full House' began. And yes, the person with him in this 1993 photo is Alanis Morisette, and yes, they dated for a while before she released her album 'Jagged Little Pill'. She also dedicated the legendary song 'You Oughta Know' to him.

Time stands still

It is true that Dave Coulier (1959) is 25 years older, but he is pretty much unchanged and is the same man as he was in 1987.

Lori Loughlin

When this photo was taken in 1981, with Christopher Atkins, she was already a star. But it was 'Full House' that rocketed her to stardom. She was 23 when filming began, and 17 in this photo.

She will always be Becky

She formed one of the most beautiful on-screen couples of the 80s alongside John Stamos. 'Aunt Becky' went on to work for the Hallmark Channel in the show 'When Calls the Heart', and has made her comeback in the second season spin-off on GAC Family network, after she was dropped from Hallmark for her part in the college bribery scandal in 2019.
