South Korea's capital gets into the top 10 for the first time since 2019, with a total of 38 billionaires. Four more than in 2021.

Samsung heir Lee Jae Yong, who also serves as Vice Chairman of the tech corporation, is worth an estimated 7 billion US euros.
44 of the top wealthiest live and work in the iconic Californian metropolis of San Francisco, four less than the year before. Among them are the three founders of Airbnb.

Internet mogul Dustin Moskovitz is, once more, the wealthiest guy in town with an estate of 11.5 billion US dollars. Moskovitz is known to have been one of the founders of Facebook, along with Mark Zuckerberg, Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum, and Chris Hughes.
The second-most populous metropolis in India ties with San Francisco by housing 51 billionaires, a step up from 48 accounted for in 2021.

Mukesh Ambani is the chairman, CEO, and major shareholder of Reliance Industries, India's largest private enterprise. With a fortune north of 90 billion US dollars.
Given the invasion of Ukraine, it's no surprise that Moscow lost the biggest number of billionaires than any other city on this list. Top earners in Russia's capital went from 79 to 53.

Vladimir Lisin, the chairman of steel manufacturer NLMK Group is Moscow’s richest person with a worth of about 8 billion US dollars.
China has been hit hard by the pandemic, but still remains strong in this list. Shenzhen, nicknamed “The Chinese Silicon Valley” in southern Guangdong, lost 9 billionaires since 2021 for a total of 59.
Shenzhen's highest-earning resident is tech businessman Ma Huateng, with just shy of 37 billion US dollars in the bank.
Shanghai, China's financial hub, finished in 5th place with 63 billionaires.

Liu Yongxing, the chairman of agriculture and chemicals firm East Hope Group, is the wealthiest man in China's main port with 13.2 billion US dollars.
Great Britain's capital lands in 4th place after being in the 7th spot in 2021. Old London Town has a total of 66 top-earners.

The wealth of philanthropist, investor, and entrepreneur Len Blavatnik is valued at 32.5 billion US dollars, making him the richest man in London.
The modern metropolis of Hong Kong remains in the third spot with 68 billionaires, despite having 12 less than in 2021.
