The Montreal Canadiens gave it their all last night in the final playoff game to claim the Stanley Cup. Despite their best efforts, the Canadiens lost to Tampa Bay Lightning.

Tampa claimed victory with just one goal
Unfortunately, it was one save too few, and it only took one goal for Tampa Bay to claim their 1-0 victory over Montreal. It would have been the first Stanley Cup win for the Habs since 1993; however, the team has a long history of winning the cup.

The Montreal Canadiens were on the verge of claiming the Stanley Cup for the 25th time in the 2021 Stanley Cup playoffs.
