Influencer twins (26) get in a car accident; one of them dies

Dara and Lara Cleaver were inseparable sisters. They always showed their love for each other on social media. Now, their life together has unexpectedly ended.

Lara Cleaver Afonso, who lived with her family in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, lost her life in a tragic car accident on October 23rd. She was 26 years old.

Lara's twin sister Dara was also in the vehicle. The sisters, who'd always been so close, suffered the crash together.

As both suffered the impact of the crash, one of the twins passed away while the other survived, with severe injuries.

As Brazilian media outlet G1 reports, the surviving sister Dara has undergone surgery but is not at risk of dying.

The twins' cousin Vitória, age 25, was also in the car when the accident happened. She suffered minor injuries and left the hospital shortly after she'd been admitted.

Lara and Dara were always active on social media. They looked beautiful and happy together. Their Instagram account (@laraafonso_daraafonso) had more than 13 thousand followers at the time of Lara's death.

The twins worked together on local advertising campaigns, such as a tanning clinic. In their most recent posts, they had shown off their tans in bikinis and bathing suits.

According to 'The Mirror,' Lara and Dara were heading home to take part in a photo shoot on the morning of the fatal accident."

According to the State Highway Police, Lara was driving a Ford Ecosport. Her sister Dara was in the passenger seat and Vitória in the back.

The police assume that Lara "lost control of the bend in a curve." The car flipped over and the young influencer was thrown out.

The young woman was taken to the HB Saúde hospital in Olympia, near her home, but she could not be saved. The influencer had several fractures and succumbed to a cardiorespiratory arrest.

The accident happened at dawn on Armando de Sales Oliveira Highway in São Paulo state. The cause of the accident is still being investigated.

Lara and Dara had studied Tourism at the São Paulo State University (UNESP). They were both very active on social media.

Posts in their Instagram captions include declarations of sisterly love like this one: "Having the love of a sister is knowing that you will never be alone, because, whatever happens, this bond will never be broken."

Sadly, the car accident has ripped the famous twin sisters apart.
